Side Note: The "Go Fund Me" reached 90K ,and he donated 25K to help others in similar circumstances. All the wonderful people placed in this young man's path. I hope this story showed up on MM. I feel like that too sometimes. I worked in a career for over 25 years where I thought I had lots of friends, 20 to 30 at least, that is until I was badly injured, was out for 2yrs, 2 surgeries, nerve damage, and lots of rehab later, was deemed unable to return to my job, tried a different job in the same company for a few years but couldn't keep it up, fast forward to being medically separated. All the people I thought I was friends with rapidly faded away, although half disappeared after 6 mo. Being out. I can count on one hand, with fingers left over, how many people turned out to be real friends. Now I consider myself fortunate to "only," have 8 friends, I'd much rather have them than all the fair weather ones combined. Now comes the but... People do care, they just get wrapped up in their own bs, and now days spend less time "out," and on phones, tablets, computers etc. When we actually go interact with people, in real life. We make connections and get a REAL perspective of others, and how their doing. In my humble and conspiracy leaning opinion, with it being an election year, all the protests and riots, political division at a seemingly al time high and thats one of the reasons for all the RONA stay at home orders, closures, social distancing and masks. Its easier to keep us divided and distracted if we can't really get together and compare notes, add the masks and you take away a huge portion of our communication. Up to 70% of the meaning and context we communicate is from facial expressions, tone, inflection and body language. Be safe, but live your life. There's a saying I'm butchering but you'll get the point. The bold don't live extremely long lives, but the timid don't live at all.

During my struggling days. I used to walk 16.5 km just to get home. I had enough money just for one way ride. I had a pair of wood land shoes, which I have still kept in my shoe cabinet just to remind myself where I was, if at all I lost focus. None of my roomates knew my struggle, and not even my wife. I am telling it now, because I know how it feels to walk that long day after day, without knowing what lays in future. Whenever I got tired, I used to remind myself one step thats all buddy. Even now whenever I am in a dark mess or shit hole without any hope ahead, I just tell myself, just one more step buddy.

Walter Carr has developed to be a great guy since 2018 showing that he is not only a dedicated kind of person, but selfless and kind. Any penny worth to support him when he was in need. Walter has since graduated from Lawson Community College with an associate’s degree in science, donated $25,000 from his go-fund-me donations that almost totaled $100,000 to the Birmingham Education Foundation that includes a $2,500 scholarship, he is a speaker and inspiration to young people to never give up when life gets tough and is giving back to the community. The reminder of his go-fund-me, he used for the restoring of his mothers house. And yes he still works for Bellhops.

A water spider has the role of moving carts, and or using hand jacks to move pallets of packages to lines where they put SAL, or sort assist label, the yellow sticker on the amazon package. other roles like stowing, i do like, 30,000 steps. Salute to Walter💯🙏🏾💪🏾 Many years ago I was offered a great job and was really excited for my new start and on my first day my car died and I didn’t have any money for cab or anyone to take me to work because I just moved into my neighborhood as well. I didn’t want to lose this opportunity of work so I decided to leave my house 5hrs in advance and started walking to the new job. Only in my case the police rode by and didn’t asked if I needed help or a ride. Needless to say I was exhausted halfway there but determined to make it. I finally made there with 5 minutes to start time. When I told my manager I walked there from where I lived he was totally shocked and impressed that he told me to just sit down and take it easy you proved yourself that you will be a excellent employee. I worked that job for years and received many accolades and advanced to higher levels and opportunities.

And after school, I got a job right away. No, not lucky you, we do whatever it takes to do anything for our kids, or we should! I took 3 different buses, and it was terrible. So many creeps out there. I tried to ignore all the sexual stuff, they said everyday, then one day, I just couldn't take it anymore, one of those creeps came up to me and opened his jacket. He then took my hand, he grabbed it so hard, thought he was going to break it off! I yelled at him and told him not to ever bother me again! He just laughed at me, and he started to walk away ,,,,,,,, laugh, then all of a sudden this nice young man went up to the creep, asked him what was so funny.......... he just kept on laughing............. that guy was such a sweetheart, oh and we have been married for 15 years now:) I was never expecting anything like this.
