I'm a black man whose parents were born here. I'm a Nigerian born British, but I must admit that I empathise with this man. What he is saying is actually factual. The British government seem to care more about its global image than the welfare of its own indigenous citizens. It's a sad situation, really! A country that is so organized with an unrivalled structure yet tends to concern itself more with pleasing and catering for foreigners than its own indigenes. I look at London and I too wonder; is this the England?

I've been struggling to get jobs since I left school. I've never blamed immigrants for "taking jobs". I've blamed myself. It's so easy to blame someone else for your own misunfortunates

I applied to go on QT once but the questionnaire I had to fill in was nothing short of a grilling of my private traits and mostly my political views.I ripped it up in disgust.Audiences are carefully vetted and the panel are told the questions beforehand. They ,the panel, view it before transmission so they can excuse anything they do not like.A totally raving,woke audience is the result.

He told the panel his facts and they tried to dismiss him, shame on the bbc Politicians and lawyers have ruined this country in not looking after their own people.

Not only did panelist David Aaronovitch show ZERO compassion for the homeless man, he also implied he was a racist I'm completely disgusted. What has happened to this country?

If there was an immigrant in the audience claiming they couldn't get a job because of racism against them everyone would pander to their complaints but when a white working class man does the same he's called a racist and booed out of the studio. DISGUSTING.

What has become of the UK when indigenous people turn against their own , is it because they are benefiting from the chaos. You see that man only perceives that he's homeless, but it doesn't make it true. When he's lying in an alley somewhere he should think of that and be grateful for all the new immigrants that have flooded into his country.

Hope that guys in a better place. He came with a real issue - one that is unfortunately growing in relevance - and was shot down, mislabeled and borderline ridiculed. You can really tell that the middle-upper classes have no empathy for those in worse situations than themselves, because to change these issues they will need to shoulder some of the burden. The bias shown here is horrifying, and the reality is soul crushing.

The response he got was that he was called a racist and that he was uncomfortable seeing black people as he walked down the street. Now, whether he's actually correct or racist, this was not the correct answer to his question. The racist shutters went up. And then the only thing they corrected him on was that he didn't say black!

A friend of mine who's white and British born and raised was told by a recently arrived Polish immigrant now working for a local authority that he wasn't entitled to housing. It's absolutely scandalous how eastern Europeans have taken employment and housing from British born and raised people.

There is an enormous over supply in the unskilled labour market which has kept working class wages down, Ive been waiting on a council house now for 6 years there is that much demand and immigrants with families who come in go above me on the list so ive basically no chance of getting a council house, Our A and E is regularly packed and you have to wait 4-5 hours, NHS dentist you have no chance and private dentist takes weeks to get an appointment and doctors surgery isnt as bad but it still takes days, good school places are very hard to get and our primary has had to extend 3 times already, unskilled jobs for the teenagers to get a start in life are very hard to get and its not a coincidence youth unemployment has doubled since we had open borders and we simply cannot continue letting anyone from Europe come and settle here, You cant blame immigrants for wanting to come here and better themselves and most i know are nice, genuine hard working people, i also know some who have came here and worked the benefits system and you should not be allowed to get housing or benefits until youve worked and paid in here for at least 5 years for me, although i dont believe its a high percentage regarding benefits but the numbers coming in are unsustainable and it has to have some form of control. It was never a major issue before for me.

As a Ex-pat who moved to live and work in Holland I knew I couldn't get social housing and had to rent from the private sector, I wasn't entitled to social security benefits, and couldn't even apply for a residency permit until I could prove I've lived in Holland for 5 years. I accepted that. Strangely, If I return to Britain after I've been away for more than 10 years I must go to the back of the housing waiting list, have a permanent residence before I can get any social security, while non-UK immigrants are pushed to the front of the lines.. Britain is screwed up, and I'm glad I left. I'll never return to that country I used to love but look upon with disgust now.

The man who walked out did nothing wrong, he raised a legitimate concern which effects his life. I'm not saying I agree with him (I don't) but I can understand where he is coming from. The audience were very unfair to him and as David said, it was one of the biggest issues concerning people. Its very easy to sit there criticising when you have a nice warm home to go to, this man doesn't and the Conservative government couldn't give a crap about it. They are too busy at the EU fighting to save bankers bonuses whilst at the same time spending millions on Mrs Thatchers funeral. He also never mentioned the word black. How quick the panel were to paint him as a racist for bringing up a major issue in his life.

To be fair I agree with bloke to a point. I've been unemployed for a couple of months and I hardly get any responses.
