Reggie has a face disfigurement and learnt to love himself the way he is, while Gary who had never had that problem is obsessed with beauty procedures in his tries to look like a Kardashian. While Gary tries to show Reggie that there is nothing bad in trying to look your best- will Reggie teach him to love himself the way that he is?
Exploring the issues of discrimination surrounding how we look, each episode pairs two people - one obsessed with intense personal vanity and one with a facial disfigurement. They spend time in each other’s lives and understand the differences and similarities between them.

It is simply letting people be realistic, and accepting of Themselves, and Stop trying to betray themselves as someone They are not. It makes no difference how many surgeries People have, People Will Always Have Something Negative too say. You have too Love Yourself before You Will ever be able too Love anyone else. Gary is so many times more confident and looks much happier at the end. He still seems a little shy and that’s okay. I hope he continues to be happier in his life. Reggie is an angel. I really feel like he saved Gary’s life

I do not wear makeup, I had a beard and chest hair as a young woman. At 62 i have no problems with my aging face and body. I worked Hospice, as a case manager/nurse for years. We all die in the end, and in the end, love and kindness is truly what matters.

Life is so damn strange sometimes. Some people are struggling to make it just one more day or avoid freezing to death outside homeless and some have tons of spare cash for 35 bedroom houses with 2 occupants and fake body parts and plastic surgery nonstop. Learn to love yourself and learn to have a decent personality because looks are NOT what makes a human being. Much love 💕

Gary looked so much better at the end than he did at the beginning. All that make up just made him look artificial. Reggie is a lovely man and meeting him has been very good for Gary.

It’s so beautiful how this wonderful man Reggie changed this young man’s life and just his thought process and self consciousness!!! Then the young man sells his clothing to donate the money to Reggie for his special shoes in order to be more comfortable walking!,❤❤ Imagine shoes like that are not cheap probably! They were a blessing to each other!! God is great and God is good!! 🙏 🙏 ❤❤😊😊

There is another African-American teenager who looks a lot like Reggie that I watched a KZfaq story about. The kid is a teenager and he seems to be going thru what Reggie went thru as a teenager........I hope Reggie can track down this kid and be able to mentor and talk to this kid over skype.

The average woman will spend a year of life putting on make up… I guess I am not average. I don’t know if I would even fill in a months time. that’s not even to say that I don’t wear make up. I just would never invest that much time. That’s crazy for me personally.

I recently had a little come to Jesus moment. I decided to shave my head (money saving, balding) I had to have a really honest conversation with myself, regarding hair transplant surgery. I have some pretty scary scars on my head so it was more of a reason to go for the surgery. Decided to embrace the shaved head, thankfully I can grow a really good beard so I’m going to invest in some time and products in grooming my beard, as well as working to improve other aspects of my character/life so if people judge me for the scars they’d then be surprised at how I carry myself. Lack of Mental health help/guidance is completely lacking in this industry. And we have a secret epidemic of youngsters doing very dangerous steroids for their gym lifestyle.. which no one is talking about

TEETH!!!!! Does any one around think on straightening their teeth???? Most of the people in these series doesn’t get the importance of having a straight and shiny white smile. Self image, even when does NOT define our happiness, has its place in our lives. Off course! Health issues are the priority, but as soon as it is not compromised, we are responsible for taking the best care of ourselves possible. In this balance is the measure of how long we need to get around our beauty or appearance.
