You guys have really good chemistry for these. Enjoyed this! I've been to Mana before and ate the tonkatsu, strawberry and cream and also a tuna with kimchee. I enjoyed them all but yes, they are a bit pricey. It was nice to try and I'd probably go back as a special treat once in a while.

Best pit beef I ever had was in Baltimore, at Chaps Pit Beef. Stopped at Old Smokey Moonshine a couple years ago had a seasonal pumpkin pie shine, it was awesome! Enjoy the videos. I miss Hawaiian pineapples and Ube cookies. 🇨🇦🤙

Glad you you were honest as always!! Totally agree with you about Ala Moana! I was there in June after a 6 year absence. I visited back in the day when the koi pond was there, Liberty House, Sears, Shirokiya… I could not wait to walk thru and get outta that crowd and parking lot…didn’t even see the “Lanai”. Thank you for sacrificing your time checking out those sandos. I feel that it’s a “fad” and don’t know why people still purchase them because of the high price and lack of flavor. BTW, any other choice of bread besides white bread? Next time your pick of restaurants!😏

Really interesting take on sandwiches but as far as the price go, you shopping at Ala Moana so they have to pay for the huge rent space. One reason I usually don't shop at Ala Moana any more. Prices artificially high so they can make rent. Malls are all like this. One good thing is all kinds of shops are all in one location and you don't need to go driving all over the place.

I've never had a sando, but I might give it a try just to say I've tried one. Prices in Hawaii are higher in general. I would try that California roll sando and the tuna even though I didn't get to see it. Haha., your "evil twin" comment I saw in another reply. Gotta keep all your personalities in a bag and let only one out at a time!

Nope. I am financially responsible and most of the money I make on KZfaq pays for the meals. Eating out one time a week isn't much compared to people that eat out for lunch everyday at work.
