When would you suggest it is time to make the decision to put a house down due to arthritis. My 26 year old TWH became lame due to several abscesses last year and now after 30 min of walking. She is extremely lame during short rides therefore we don't ride anymore. I am agonizing over the thought of saying goodbye, but I board her, it is expensive to keep her, making it hard to quality time together. Appreciate your thoghts. Thank you.

Definitely! I put boots on my old guy when we go on rocks or hard ground/roads. I can feel a noticeable spring in his step when he’s moving out in boots!

@@blumun24 I love Cavallos for my senior, because they're so easy and pretty forgiving of fit. They've held up and performed REALLY well too, although I know a lot of intense endurance/distance riders don't take them seriously. For me, they've been awesome! I like the simples and ELBs. I have video reviews of both that you can check out. Also, have some reviews of renegades and vipers, which I've used for distance competitions, but again, it's more work to get them on, keep them on throughout the trim cycle and dial in the fit perfectly. So many different opinions and options out there, so you have to find out what works for you and your horse!
