2/3--- na maubusan ng pera many times. One day, I told myself I would never feel this way again (na mawalan ng pera). We all know how hard it it to move without money. So when I got a finer job, I managed my salary well. They said it’s not how much you earn but How much you spend. Now that I’m married, I got luckier because my husband is really good in managing our finances, he ttaught me basic budgeting.

I always practice delayed gratification. The only purchases that I do that I don't postpone are necessities. For example, vehicle shutdown kasi need ng bagong transmission, I do it right away because we need our vehicle for our day to day needs kahit mahal sya. But things like my camera, I planned and save for it like 3 years before I decided to buy a camera kasi medyo mahal sya. My main approach about money is that if it is not a need, I take time to decided and observe how I feel towards that item to buy. If my feelings change after 1 month or 2, it means it is not meant to buy but if my feelings hasn't change then it means it is meant to buy in the long run because our desire is mostly motivated with feelings and feelings can change overtime and when that feelings change it means it is pointless to buy that item because you get loathe to that item and after a while you will regret buying the item because then you would say "I should have not buy it and look at now I don't want it anymore and feels like wasting money. I think when we buy something, we have to think the long term value and how does it benefit us in the long run to fully take advantage the value of our purchase item.

Thank you for this video Rica. I’m so glad a celebrity has talked about the importance of tithing. Just sharing how we allocate our finances: 10% tithing, 10% savings, 10% giving and 70% for bills and expenses. Delayed gratification is something that I teach my children (especially my girls haha). I tell them we deserve a lot of things, but that doesn’t mean we have to get it when we want it

Thank you Ms. Carla & Mr. Randell 🧡 Quality content always 📈💯 Grateful to be part of the church community na ginamit ni Lord to give the reminder na everything that i have: this life (relationships, career & blessings) comes from Him, so kahit talagang mahirap din ngayong pandemic, may assurance lang that God’s gotchu & me 🥰 also grateful for my husband who also loves & honors God & for parents who are in the insurance industry, we grew up na marami din hirap na pinag daanan pero they always remind me na if able, it’s good to start saving&investing early pero just incase na dami talaga din kailangan unahin it’s never too late to start & that we can always start now kahit paunti unti 🧡

:) That way after a month, I have an overview where I used my money. Manual checking also works for me because it slows down the process, and then mas nakakapagruminate ako saan nga ba napunta yung pera. Nag accordion style din ako, and sa loob meron ding envelope per item na may pangalan kasi sa book naman ni Ptr Dennis yung every peso has a name. So that's how I did it, and every year din pala nagccheck ako baka may bagong category akong pinagkakakgastusan. :)

I agree with Sir Randell, once we’re able to save and invest, money left can now be spent. Hindi na masakit sa puso. Hahaha walang guilty feelings. Pero kung puro spend spend, at walang na-save, what’s going to happen to you in the future, di ba po. Hirap po nun. And I really hope isa yun sa mga natutunan nating mga Pinoy during this time. 😊 Emergency Fund is very very important before we start investing. ❤️ More contents like this. 👍

3/3--- So nadadala nya ko. I wish I learned financing way earlier para di na ko nahirapan nong mid 20s ko. So I really try to tell my younger friends so spend their money wisely. Isipin muna bago mag add to cart. Haha in fairness when online stores are on sale, I really just buy the “needs”. ❤Almost 2 years na ang pandemic, I guess when everything goes back to the real normal, marami na mag iipon dahil lahat nagulat sa pangyayari. True na this will just really pass😇. My mom just always told us before na “Huwag Mangutang.” 👍Takot sa utang. So naiisip ko lagi yan and now I have no “utang” at all. 👌Hehe but I know may tinatawag na man na good credit diba? By the way, It’s really wonderful how we all could learn so many things her in YT for free. Salamat Rica👌 at Kay sir Randell👌. Na refresh ang isip ko hehe. As a newly married Christian couple, we're also practicing TITHING. We're not after the blessings that come after tithing, but truly just in obedience to God's commandment. To honor the Lord in every aspect of our marriage, most specially in our finances. We believe that it is God who gave us the ability to create wealth and apart from Him, we can do nothing. Every time dadating yung sweldo ng husband ko (because we're a traditional Filipino family with one income earner lang), he would always say (in Cebuano): "Love naabot na akong sweldo ug nag-tithes nako." :) Matthew 6:33 says "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." Thank you, Ms. Rica for this yet another valuable content. :)

I highly promote this vlog! I really think a lot of people should see this!! Especially now in the age of shoppee, lazada and all kinds of online shopping. I’ve learned how to save money since I was young. The money i saved from my allowance would all be bundled in rubber bands back then lolz 😂 In college, my classmates would laugh at me calling me “kuripot”. Now, im in my 40s with 3 kids, by God’s grace, i never had past due accounts, never had to loan money out of emergency, and always have savings in the bank. I may not be wealthy, but we have more than enough for our family’s basic needs, R nR , and most all for TITHES AND OFFERING .

When it comes naman sa mga wants i solely practice “delaying gratification” like what youve said may nga bagay nga na seems important or need kahit di naman talaga minsan nadadala lang ng emosyon hahahahaha. Lastly po, i knew where to invest na where i felt the most satisfied never malulugi, its when you give what is due to God, i am a firm believer po na we cannot OUTGIVE God, very true po yung God’s economy, i set my mind not on things on earth not just to benefit me but to reallu give back to God and others. Biblical giving and giving to others will not just refresh you but will refresh them as well. So thank youuuu for this vlog, very juicy and meaty. more to comeee po! 🤍🤍🤍 God bless!

I really love this video! Ako personally, sobrang magastos talaga ako. And I married someone na hindi din ganito ang mentality. So I stepped up and did my best to learn things. Thank God na aside sa aking stable work as a DepEd teacher, meron din akong "side hustle" which actually gives me more than the former. I was able to save up for our emergency fund and we were able to buy some properties. Pero, it's okay. Lahat naman siguro, dumaan sa failures. For now, what I do is I do tithing and some giving to our church. Then, I support my mother, too. I have insurance and I'm paying monthly for another residential lot. I am honestly not sure if I'm doing things right. But God knows I'm trying and I'm doing my best.

I have learned my handling my finances by reading the book of Bo Sanchez. From there I have learned the 70-20-10 percent principle of budgeting. But I still struggle today about that 10% 😅 Thank you for this vlog Ms. Rica at parang may nagenlighten ulit sa akin about Tithing and Giving ♥️ God bless and more vlogs po! Hihi

Super love this! HAHAHAHA will definitely budget the sahod as in now na! Thank you, Miss Rica. I also opened an account para dun ilagay yung makuha galing sa side-hustle. That'll serve as an emergency fund na.

But lately I practiced my self how to manage our small resorce from campany and am so amazed may masisave ka pala even small amount every week. Now I realized even though you have so much money but suddenly you can't handle it correctly this is useless. So now I really grateful for the wisdom He gave that I manage very carefully even the small amount in my pocket. Ask the Lord for the wisdom! 🙏💖🙌

I'm 100% agree with you Ms. Sol Monic. I, for one is also "takot sa utang" So during my younger years when I was still working, I started investing on buying a property, build a house which where we are living up to now, buy a car and got my daughter an educational plan which she's enjoying now that she's in senior high school and going to college soon. But if there is one thing that I'm not so lucky is I think putting a business of my own. I tried many times but many times I failed.
