I wish I had the space you do. Instead of the water pitchers, I use plastic laundry baskets with the skeins on end so the string is up. I have them tie the old string to the new string so they can continue on. I had them tying it on the loom but it was always too loose and then not knowing which way to start again. So tie to the old string. Thank you for the little paper needle threader! I was using string that often got lost or having them twist yarn to thread the needle. Both were frustrating. How long do you suggest for time frames? We have about a month left and I'm worried about not finishing

are there any problems removing the double not from the needle when changing colors? i have students hold a loop of yarn with their finger at the end of the row before pulling. it leaves a little extra and prevents the warp strings from moving.

Do they take home the llama cardboard or once done do u have them cut them off?
