Kelly is one of the few female players who nearly always strikes the ball well, her technique is so good that she often gives the 'keeper no chance. Others should learn from her that it's about explosive impact rather than brute force, she always times it right so the ball flies off her foot, and she's composed enough to strike it away from the goalkeeper. I bet she's practised shooting a hell of a lot.

Part of the problem for both sides here is they get shots away in good positions and on target but they are mostly ay saveable height, keep them on the deck and they'll score. United have been somewhat derelict in their management these last 18 months, in not wrapping up players like Batlle, Russo and Earps into new contracts well before their contracts expire. So what was the United manager thinking about before the start of the game. Why bench your elite player(s) and bring them in after the bad deeds had happen. Was he experimenting?
