Staggered to read some of the comments on here from so called Liverpool fans. Klopp has worked wonders all season, dealing with numerous injuries to top players, having to ease in some youngsters, who have excelled, and his use of subs has been tactically brilliant. Given all the circumstances, Klopp deserves a medal for keeping us in the race and it isn’t over yet….⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Even if we had won at the death, I would still have been pissed off for what had gone on before. Two years ago, we had 23 shots v Spurs at home and scored 1. Spurs had 3 and scored 1. Cost us the league. A few weeks later, we had 23 shots v Real Madrid and scored 0. Real had 1 and scored 1. Cost us the Champions League. Salah misses too many open goals. Grinning like a Cheshire Cat when he missed that sitter in the first half. Too complacent.

Spot on lad. I felt like the only one who wanted him sold in the summer he's one selfish greedy cunt only interested in personal records and achievements. Every time he's out the team we play well better. When he was at afcon an injured we played our best football of the season. Him and that donkey nunez need to go. If klopp was more ruthless and less attatched to certain players we'd have won a lot more

So glad to see people finally giving Mo some stick. He’s a one trick pony and he doesn’t have that trick no more. He needs to start being used as a sub. The same for Nunez, bringing him on adds more than starting him. Danns needs to be used. Ok, I’ve not seen loads of him, but he looks like a true forward and a natural finisher. I still think Arsenal will wilt under 7 games of pure pressure.

Salah's been a great player but when we REALLY, REALLY needed him, in the big moments he's fallen short. This was the Spurs 1-1 in May 2022. We needed a winner that day and Salah didn't produce. In Paris a few weeks later, he didn't produce. A player with his supposed status should have scored 2-3 goals from open play today, When we needed them.

We won the European cup only because we played Spurs that year. Had we played Ajax, they would have played us off the park, as we did not turn up.

Our play in the final third is shite, wrong decisions under/over hit passes, passes behind players instead of in front of them. Our chaos gets us on top and into great positions but then our chaos undoes us, it’s a double edged sword

That game was a snapshot of a lot of the early season. Not clinical, biting us in backside and dropped points . Needlessly. So frustrating. Our whole left side stifled so many attacks also. It’s possible that we win all our remaining games. My concern is that Arsenal are not conceding also. 4 goals in 2024. That goal difference is driving me crazy because it would just be us to finish on 91pts and lose a league on GD. All self inflicted

I said it after the Sheffield Utd game that we have to cut out the mistakes at the back and be more clinical up front. Can’t keep letting teams in needlessly and keep missing double figure chances. Trying to claw games back has been a common theme this season. We never learn. Quansah I feel sorry for him. It was a terrible mistake. We were cruising at that point and their crowd went completely quiet. They are the jammiest team ever. How has Mainoo done us with a Macheda goal. Sickening.

@@millinutz Nunez has scored 11 EPL goals this season. His expected Goals (xG) is 14.85 and Big Chances Missed is 24!! 😬 Just not good enough. It's all very well saying he's a handful and he gives the opposition centre backs a nightmare. The reality is that centre forwards for EPL winning clubs need to score a good proportion of the chances presented to them. Darwin just doesn't do that. He's not a natural finisher.

We also need Trent to supply him with the balls. Until these two are back, every game is gonna be a hard and dirty game..., probably producing a few more casualities, through over exertion.

At the start of the season, all were talking about having 5 strikers and all the poss. combinations! But having 5 Solo artists as strikers is shite if they dont function proper. Remember when we had the famous three, and how they worked as a Unit? If we don't get these lads to function proper, real quick, then we can forget the League title.

Our lack of killer instinct far precedes this front 3 and has cost us on several occasions over the last few years - Paris CL final v Real Madrid and the 19/20 2nd leg v Atlético at Anfield to name but two. It's all very well calling for Jota but unfortunately he's too injury prone, had long stretches out each season. The new manager needs to get a clinical forward in who can stay fit, or bring in the right people to work on Núñez, Díaz etc.

We have been in the same situation before in the title race. Too many draws where we should have won cost us the title twice. We can't sit here and say we have 7 matches still left to play. We know both Arsenal and Man City are capable of putting in a winning run of 7 matches or more. We had the point advantage going into this match and we threw it away against a shite team. Now for us to win we depend on others to lose. Our destiny is not in our hands.

Only ourselves to blame and no doubt we have let United off the hook this season but no one is perfect. City drawn twice against Chelsea. Arsenal taken 1 point from 6 against Fulham. It happens. Said during the international break 28 points from 30 would win the title & I still think that’s the case. No room for error now though. Have to win the last seven.

Lance Armstrong FC are winning this easily. Arsenal second and us third. Our 4 away games in a row (possibly 5 if we make the europa semi finals) will be where we will drop more points. We can’t finish clear cut chances and we can’t keep a clean sheet. Only 14 clean sheets in 49 games played this season. Arsenal 19 clean sheets from 43 games. Man City 15 from 48.

@@alistairsmith5389 to a degree I agree mate. I do think City have the easiest run in. Only game I can possibly see them slipping up in is Tottenham away. You are right about that week as well with Fulham, Everton & West Ham away in 6 days. That’s tough. Think we will have to win all seven to win it now. No doubt defensively we look more vulnerable than arsenal especially but a lot of that is down to the fact we have been missing 3 of our first choice back 5 for a lot of the season (Alisson, Alexander-Arnold & Matip) plus the likes of Robertson & Konate missed a lot of games. Defence has chopped & changed a lot with VVD the only constant. Still think it goes to the wire & CL if City & Arsenal play each other might be a big factor.

Stu is bang on. The front three are so wasteful. My app says 5 big chances missed. 5!!! I want calmness in the finishing- players who can do that are obviously rare. Torres would have had a hat-trick today. Suarez, Fowler, Owen and Jota would have had 2 at least. Despite that somehow we’re joint top.

Our attack Is shocking, we are so wasteful. Mo’s stats are great, but the chances he misses are u forgivable. It almost looks half asses and arrogance. Our players seem to refuse to take a shot, weather thats Klopps instruction or lack of confidence. Mainoo had one blast from distance and scored. We try and walk the ball in the net, why?! Diaz works hard, but no final output. Nunez the same. Salah wasteful. Can’t wait for Jota, he is deadly. The mancs CB pairing where there to be annihilated and we let them off. Disgrace.

To think we could’ve had a Robbo ‘get innn’ today. Ffs. So good to see you back on here lad. We are a great team but we have been wasteful with chances for a long, long time. Possibly seasons. We need another Jota (a natural finisher) somewhere in that frontline because unfortunately we can’t rely on him to stay fit long enough to make season defining impacts. Is right about Salah- has been great for us obviously but he’s lost a bit of a pace and his decision making in front of goal can be questioned. He hasn’t scored that one where he cuts in on his left and bends it since Roma 5 years ago.

United away is always our everest in the same way anfield was always a tough game for united when they were far superior to us for 25 years. Because we're not being clinical, which means, we've missed the first place because of ALL those goals that Nunez has so ruthlessly hit past or over the goal... goals that our past 3 strikers were putting home! Iv had a few hours to calm down and get some perspective and realise that a point at Old Trafford historically is ok. I'm certain that there has been many occasions when Fergies Man Utd were coming to Anfield and all the form pointed to a Man U win and we had been the equivalent to Utd now in 6th place or something and we've ended up getting a result even though we defended all game . I'm still wounded but Arsenal got two derbies against Tottenham and Chelsea who will be as eager as Utd were to spoil Arsenals party . So we need to calm down and stay confident. It ain't over. YNWA

Salah is our Marcus Rashford. On a huge contract and in my opinion simply not delivering. I appreciate I am in the minority but even the most ardent fan can't deny the drop off since he signed the new contract. He was poor last year and has hardly set the PL alight this year. Big players like Ronaldo and Messi turn up in big games and make a difference. When was the last time he did that? Darwin and Diaz are not experienced. Salah as the senior and experienced player should be affecting the game if he wants to be compared to the greats on a consistent level. Time to cash in and move on. He will forever be a LFC legend but now happy to bask on glory days of the past.

I’m so disappointed is because it’s like dropping points against Sheffield United or Burnley. It’s not a silly dig at United, but OMG they are so poor, think that’s what makes this hurt so much.

The more this Utd things happens the worse itll be. I said to win the title we had to win the City game at home or the Utd away game. They were the ones. Course ill still believe we can win but this is a big mental hit too. If we can put a great game against Palace itll cheer me up loads. Im more worried that the Utd game will affect us. Lets hope the menatlity monsters can win the last 7!

Lets not get on quansah's back, young player whos had a great season, players with alot more experience than him have made those kind of mistakes. Dont know why carragher and others getting after szoboszlai either, keeper makes great save off him 1st half and if nunez gets his head up he has a tap in 2nd half, general play, work rate and contribution was gud in the game. We are still in this title race, plenty of twists and turns to come, but this is were it matters, forwards have to be more clinical in front of goal and wudnt do any harm to have a few more clean sheets, up the reds YNWA.

Jota has been a huge loss. We're just not clinical enough up front, especially with Mo off his best. Diaz and Nunez will work their socks off but we're not really fluid up front. We don't create enough good chances.

Really annoyed but I could see it coming & called this as a draw weeks ago when going through the fixtures & coming up with a 90 point final total. I'm also getting really tired of the BS we're going to "smash" utd narrative every time we play them when the reality is we don't even beat them the majority of the time. However, regardless of that, it's happened, forget about it & move on to the next game. Arsenal & City will both potentially drop points too & the reality is even if they don't, we're still in it & if we focus on winning our own games, it's in our own hands. I'm over it because, I'm used to it.

Even if there is a so-called twist liverpool will just find a way to throw it away again it's happened throughout klopps tenure they just find ways to not win trophies. He should have won way more and had he been a bit more cold and ruthless he would have that's the difference between him and Guardiola

But Klopp was completely wrong to start Konate against Sheffield and Quansah today. I respect Quansah a lot but you can't compare him with Konate and why not finally start Eliot from the beginning

I think the title’s Arsenal’s. They’re the best coached team, playing the best football. Us and City don’t look convincing. We even struggle against Lower level teams. Arsenal just seem to breeze past teams and score goals for fun. I can only hope they get a few injuries in key areas. With all the fire power we’re 💩 upfront. We really miss Jota and the sooner he comes back the better.

We have bottled it, there’s no two ways about it. Considering our expectations from the start of the season we are in a great position but expectations change and we didn’t deliver and may have just blown the league yet again. So incredibly frustrating
