Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 21 made a scathing attack on Congress over their manifesto.
"Congress is trapped in the clutches of the Leftists and urban naxals. What Congress has said in its manifesto is serious and worrying. They have said that if they form a government then a survey of property belonging to every person will be done. It will be checked how much gold our sisters own,how much money government employees have....They also said that gold owned by our sisters would be equally distributed. Does govt have the right to take your property? 'Mangalsutra' sone ki keemat ka mudda nahi hai, unko sapno se juda hua hai..." said PM Modi.

Wealth redistribution has been done many times by Congress. Land reforms was the first. It was put under 9th schedule of constitution to prevent courts from hearing cases filed by aggrieved parties In 1970s CDS (Compulsory Deposit Scheme) required everyone to deposit 18% of income in fixed deposits locked in for 5 years. This was over and above tax.

They promise things like cast census, free scholarship to muslim students to study abroad, removal of CAA etc. In the recent interview Siddaramaiahji has said that he will do wealth re-distribution to the minorities. Modi is just pointing out all this. How is this hate speech? Also did you forget about Neha being stab*ed in by Faiz, Rameshwaram blast, Tipu jayanti stone pelting, Pakistan zindabad slogans, beaten up for listening to hanuman chalisa in your own shop. All this happened with 5-6 months in one state. According to you this would be called secularism and communal harmony.
