It is brillant to watch the Shay in the snow! As I'm an absolute enthusiast of the Shays I would love to own one. But my layout is constructed with two terminal loops in LGB R3 (r=120cm) I'm not sure if the loco will work properly. Yours Ernst.

I think the Accucraft Shay expected out late this year will be able to negotiate 4 foot diametre curves. I have reserved one. I love the Shay.

@@Terrys-Steam-and-Cobi Oh yes, I have seen the announcement of a Shay 13T Class A late in the year. I would be so happy to have one running on my tracks. I have surveyed my terminal loops again and the result is 2,4m in diameter = Radius 1,2m that´s about 4 foot...! This is my temporary headache 🙂....! Thank you so much for your helpfull message.
