I really enjoyed the Goblin Emperor, it is a very political book but it's a feel good book in many ways. Hope you like it!

Every time you talk about Bound and the Broken, I realize how high my excitement is to start it. Did you see that Sanderson just announced yet another Secret Project?? He got worried you were catching up haha Can’t wait for Sons of Darkness thoughts! I keep waiting for the perfect moment to read it when I’ll have plenty of brainpower/time but probably that’s just my intimidated procrastination brain making excuses

enjoy your trip! Kaiju preservation society is a fun read if you don't take it seriously. It also takes place in 2020 timeline so references to real world events just as a TW

I was so stressed reading the Poison Song. The emotions were so high I had a book hangover after 😂 Yes, we’ll read Of Darkness and Light. 3rd week in March. Right??? 😂 I’ve been meaning to start Dragonbone chair for ages! Maybe I’ll finally pick it up once I hear your thoughts on it. Yes! Yumi! You’re going to love it!! I still haven’t read Sunlight Man. I don I why, just not a priority

YES. Like from 30% to 50% I was almost dreading picking it up because no one could catch a BREAK. Just goes to show how invested I am though... Ahaha yes we got this!! I'll do my best to give a good review for you to go off of 😉 I feel you on this. I may end up adoring it, but it's just not at the top of the pile..

Have a wonderful time with family. I’ve just finished Ship of Magic and shall start Mad Ship later this month. Have started Tainted Cup by Bennett and want to read Dune Messiah too 😊

@@MaedBetweenthePages I’m loving Liveship. Read Farseer end last year and wishing to carry on, steadily. Tainted Cup so far is very good (combine Sherlock with Pacific Rim). I’ve just want to read SO many books, specfic and others… 🤪 I can imagine you eating lots of your favourite foods. I can’t help myself every time I return to Belgium or Portugal. Enjoy!

Ah, I'm just in the middle of a Readalong of Memory, Sorrow and Thorn on my channel. We did The Dragonbone Chair in January, and did a livestream early Feb, and later this month, we're doing a livestream for book 2 Stone of Farewell. One book a month is possible, despite them being chonky books!

@@MaedBetweenthePages I'm bias, as I read them the first time when they were coming out, so I'm a huge fan. I've been waiting for him to revisit the world of Osten Ard and now he has with his new series, nearly 30 later. I met him last year when he was in the UK at a convention, and got a copy of the new book signed, so once I'm done with Memory, Sorrow and Thorn, I'm going to start on the new trilogy (also in 4 books!)

@@MaedBetweenthePages He's an astonishing writer. And he talks like he writes, so at length! It's a different experience for sure, as a grown man vs a teen, but there's still a lot to appreciate. Yes, meeting him was amazing and getting a signed book was fantastic.

Im reading The Poison Song! Im only about 20% through and i feel the same way, i want to read it but I hesitate to pick it up because I am nervous for them! Also, reading Empire of the Vampire which is pretty good.

OMG 30-50% is a GUANTLET. It was giving me so much stress. I'm finally through to 55-ish% and I'm sure it's just the calm before the real storm, but I'm taking a breather. Just goes to show how invested we are 😭 I own EoV but it somehow kept getting shifted lower down the TBR pile for no discernable reason...maybe it could be a good fall/spooky season read?

Yeah EoV would be a good October read, I’m really enjoying it. I really love your channel so thanks for all your videos. There’s just too many books to fit in! Especially when they are all 800+ pages - on my soon TBR is dandelion dynasty, shadow of the gods, Ryan Cahill.. just not enough time. 😂
