Real Talk though. Stillman got some Dogs over there. That Sade song at the beginning was fire 🔥🔥🔥. Before it was all these rap tunes, thats how the Old School used to handle business.

Stillman might have been the best there....they really impressed me. They sneakily might have won this. SU was amazing too though...& Dega was no pushover at all...But stillman and they're size an they're quality was very impressive.

I liked Stillman. I'm impressed with the program and where they are already. TC is loud and powerful but lacks musicality and cleanliness. SU was in a class by themselves. I actually like this smaller edition of Bama State too!

I’m really having a hard time figuring out how people who have Dega winning this are judging it. I have Dega 2nd or 3rd with Stillman. Maybe yall are judging by volume but you have to realize the camera is directly in front of Dega so they will naturally sound the loudest from this angle. Dega has improved a lot the past few years but their arrangements just don’t hold a candle to SU, even the rap tunes are simplified in comparison. I like what ASU has done and got away from trying to out blow bands and focus on balance. Stillman is a little beast, can we trade them for Valley in the SWAC?

Great Stand Battle Amongst all the Bands, and all did well. 1. SU with the W (Over-all Sound, Balance & Power unmatched) 2. Stillman sounded pretty good pushing those watts, very impressive 3. Dega honorable mention (Powerful Sound) 4. ASU did their thing.....sounded good

@@dat513medic late, but to answer your question. No. It’s not the miles arrangement, it’s fairly different in many ways. Still man has had this same arrangement for ages. They even played it at miles one time, but they ran people out the stadium before miles could respond

@@musichead3994 no disrespect to Stillman but SU n JSU is on a total different level especially SU arrangements wise SU would embarrass them especially if they get you one on one with no distractions I hear Stillman fans say if they had the numbers they could hang with SU I thought they were funny it's more to SU then just some numbers and that's what y'all don't get these two bands master mind playing loud with control n balance something these bands missing SU is in a class all by themselves I'm not understanding why folks that's fans of other bands want their band to battle SU I'm guessing because SU is the most recognized talk about popular band in HBCUS not to mention bands wants that popularity n recognition if they battle SU often I guess that's why dega keep asking SU for battles anyway it doesn't matter who step to SU no band would never be were SU is and at SU is well known around the world for a reason not just HBCUS world I can't say the same for these other bands the name SU will draw a big crowd to any band stadium they are the most talk about in the SWAC and the band world periodic

Stillman have an Old school 90's raw kind of power, they were definitely much louder than they looked like they'd be.. If they're that loud with those small amount of people, if they ever reach top swac bands' size, It seem like they'd be coming to take the crown from some Top swac bands.. Stillman got Heart! SU White Lines was nice, a little slow but nice. Dega is just blowin. Bama State is at weird place. They used to be huge(monsters) but they seem tamed now. It’s something off about them. Can’t put my finger on it. Nice Showcase. I came away really impressed by Stillman.

It must had been a mistype on the title of the video. Then i start reading the comments. Im thinking to myself where was su. Dude it's obvious u don't know SU history when SU was small they were even more dangerous whipping bands asses so size don't matter Stillman not on SU level SU is a different Breed power arrangements along will kill bands among other qualities SU have true facts

I'm glad the usual SU hype didn't distract people from the other bands. Really impressed with Stillman. People forget that you don't always have to have the size to be an effective band. An 80 piece DCI band would put most regular college marching bands to shame. As far as this battle goes, for me it was more like Stillman vs ASU and TC vs SU. TC has just as much power as SU thanks to their size and similar horn configuration. ASU needs a little work. Great footage.
