The name of the album this song from is named butterfly and this album very symbolic for Mariah she was able to metamorphosis into the person and artist she wanted to be after he divorce from tommy motola. Also Mariah mimicked their sound for this song it’s just musical bliss to me

Krayzie and Wish Bone are two members from the 4 member hip hop group Bone Thugs N Harmony from the mid 90s. Mariah is a hip hop head and she loves the harmonic style rapping of the group so for her Butterfly album she finally had the creative freedom to work with some of the artist she had wanted to work with for years. Please react to her song Babydoll. The butterfly is representative of not only the album but her freedom from her husband and other problems in her life during that time. It became her signature symbol. And yes she is harmonizing the word "Cry" at the end.

They’ve done a bunch of collabs…those 2 and also… I Still Believe (Krayzie Bone and Mariah off of Krayzie Bone’s debut solo album…great song!) Dont Forget About Us (remix) - song is ok…its a remix from the single for this song…its Mariah, Krayzie and Layzie Bone…also features Juellz Santana Also…there is another version of Breakdown called “The Mo Thug remix” that has more of Bone Thugs. Thier verses are extended and it also features Layzie Bone And Lil Love is from 2007

She use to wear those sticker things to cover up the rest of a burn her sister gave her. Butterfly’s became her thing when leaving her husband(97) and needing to fly away and the album this song was on is also called butterfly(97) that’s why you see a lot of them

The way she lays it out in her book (how she’s been a genius since she COULD TALK {she draws too}) is a blessing! She just never had a challenge. It's 2 of 4 members from the group Bone Thugs N Harmony. After Mariah 's terrible separation from the devil a.k.a. Tommy lol she was finally free to do as she pleased (Dress, music, collabs etc). The butterfly became symbolic of that freedom...& Now it's synonymous with Mariah. You see butterflies anywhere and think...MC lol You should do a split screen with the video and the lyrics pulled up, so you can follow along. Especially for songs where she's giving Toni Braxton level of diction lol ( "swallowing" her words a bit but it's still beautiful singing). E.g. Breakdown, The Roof, Bliss, Babydoll etc

Bone Thugs actually has 5 members…Layzie, Krayzie, Bizzy, Wish & Flesh. The common confusion is because Flesh had alot of problems with the law and was only in certain songs/videos.…but he has always been a member since the beginning
