Marianne Williamson talks about how there are only two core emotions, love and fear. She talks about how therapy may not be able to create happiness as effectively as opening your heart and "turning on the light" to surrender fear.
Marianne Williamson is an internationally acclaimed spiritual author and lecturer. Six of her ten published books have been New York Times Best Sellers. Four of these have been #1 New York Times Best Sellers. A Return to Love is considered a must-read of The New Spirituality. A paragraph from that book, beginning "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure..." is considered an anthem for a contemporary generation of seekers.
Marianne's other books include The Age of Miracles, Everyday Grace, A Woman's Worth, Illuminata, Healing the Soul of America, A Course in Weight Loss, and The Gift of Change. Her newest book, THE LAW OF DIVINE COMPENSATION: On Work, Money and Miracles, was published in November 2012 by Harper Collins.
She has been a popular guest on television programs such as Oprah, Larry King Live, Good Morning America and Charlie Rose. Marianne is a native of Houston, Texas. In 1989, she founded Project Angel Food, a meals-on-wheels program that serves homebound people with AIDS in the Los Angeles area. Today, Project Angel Food serves over 1,000 people daily. Marianne also founded the Department of Peace Campaign, a grass roots campaign to establish a United States Department of Peace.

Read that in Conversations with God years ago, everything we do is out of Love or FEAR! I ask myself that question all the time. Nevertheless, can you imagine what a phenomenal country & life we'd have if Marianne is President?? Universal healthcare & education, a system where everyone paid their fair share, a government that protects workers (like France where a company can't just lay people off), adequate housing & transportation with electric trains across the whole country, etc. What it would feel like to wake up in a country where you could create the things you're passionate about, instead of just working for corporations like a machine just so you can have medical insurance?! Where any citizen with the intelligence & ambition could get the highest level of education at any age?! We would all benefit. We hear so much about what all the other countries do for their most valuable asset; their citizens and we know now just how undervalued & defeated we've become. Fight Florida Marianne (and NC & SC) and get on that Primary ballot!! Please.🤍 Ps... and what happens when all those non skilled jobs are gone? Performed by AI and most of the population is unskilled because of the cost of education?? That's 5-10 years away.
