I have watched this video so many times. I plan on making a letter cake for my baby for his first birthday. He’s only 5 and a half months, but, ya know... thinking and planning ahead🙃

Do you prep the flowers a certain way to be food safe?

Usually just wash them with soap and dry properly. For a step further you can wrap the stem (if any) in saran wrap before sticking it the buttercream/fondant

You can always ask a florist which flowers are edible but you can use any flowers as long as they're sealed
