Additionally attorney Rachel Mitchell showed backbone and character in her decision and implementation of her decision not to extradite the suspect back to New York. This is the type of leadership we need in our state and country.

Manhattan is going to drag this office into court, no doubt, and a judge is going to rule against you, AND, you HAVE to continue the case against this suspect other than dropping it, as your own state law demands THAT, as does Federal. It is a no win for you, Madam, I believe even the United States Constitution speaks in a Clause on Extradition. YOU HAVE NO LEGAL CHOICE, all you are doing is showing off and delaying the process with this refusal. You will be OVERRULED soon enough, hopefully sooner rather than later.
