A time lapse film taken on may 26, 2013, during the pilotage of the Heerema Barge H542 loaded with the Dolwin Alpha Topside from Dordrecht to Mammoet Schiedam.

God bless every Dutchman that has ever strapped a camera to a barge. It's so enjoyable to watch. I could have these videos running in the background in my living room all day long.

Awesome video absolutely awesome video great coordination and throwing in the still shots perfect video had to be a hell of a job moving such a big barge excellent job fellas outstanding all the way. From this old man of South Florida job very very well done and thank you for the video.

I think it's because of the current. If it needs to pull to the port side a little bit it has to keep readjusting to starboard otherwise it'll "float back" and pull to port too much. This is just me guessing though so don't take it as gospel

So Heerema yard is constrained by the limitation size of botlek bridge? It goes without saying that Solitaire or Pioneering Spirit never went there 🤣🤣🤣🤣
