Hello My Lovelies,
In this video, I'm sharing my 10 lessons & tips that will help you get a beautiful handmade and thrifted wardrobe inspired by Marilyn Monroe's iconic style.
Marilyn had incredible off duty and everyday style and I've been analysing some of my favourite looks and have come up with 10 lessons that can help achieve her look. First of all... THAT SHIRT and sweater combo🔥🔥🔥!!! She wore ABSOLUTELY my all time favorite of styles, so elegant and sexy but simple! I strive for this with a touch of my native American grandmothers spiritual style💓. If you change your mind on cowboy boots let me know, living in the land of cowboys here I can hook you up!!! That was interesting. I have worked as a Marilyn lookalike and have a few Marilynesque clothing items such as the white dress etc. In the 50s my mum (who was an excellent seamstress professionally), used to make her own clothes based on some of Marilyn’s more demure costumes. Such as the suits.

I had a very bad accident to my face and I needed reconstructive plastic surgery. When the doctors began a plan, they asked “who would I like to look like?” The only blonde I could think of was Marilyn. I had her figure, now I would have her nose, cheeks, chin and teeth. If I did the full on makeup and outfit, I turned heads. I’ll not suggest having my jet crash, the months and months of surgeries or that I don’t remember what I used to look like. It took years of therapy to accept that I was still me. I still had a career, my life, my husband and children. I’ve come to find my own style. I like to try new styles, but they always end up A-line and in jewel tones. Having fabulous jewelry can upscale a T-shirt and denim slacks. Jeans don’t work for me, so I have denim slacks made. Casual fabric with a better cut. I’m ordering this book. It’s not one on MM I’ve seen. Thanks for sharing.

Hi I,m 61 and I love vintage style, but I,m a plus size lady . I have a few new vintage or retro clothes. But I think that I,m to old and to fat to wear vintage clothing. Love your channel.

I'm really glad you're enjoying what I do. I think you can be any size or any age to enjoy vintage or vintage style clothes but I know that's easy for me to say! I truly hope you can incorporate some vintage elements to your wardrobe as it's something you love!
