I'd recommend recording the game play separate from the voice over, you can tell a few times when you get focused on the game and repeat the same point again or stutter to think of the next point. Otherwise, great video!

Blue Kritter is underrated as a pitcher. He has incredible stamina and has a high velocity. His changeup is similar to blooper and his curve is good enough to compliment his fastball

This was a great video. I have several things: -Somewhere there's a spreadsheet that puts all the stats in actual numbers instead of those bars, but I guess that doesn't help when they gave characters arbitrary ratings anyway. -That was interesting about stamina. I thought bad pitchers were getting tired more, but maybe I was seeing that because bad pitchers give up more runs which tires you soon. This might just be in the Gamecube version, but the Mario brothers have/had extra stamina against getting tired -I think the throwing speed is their way to balance against speedy players, because some slower characters like Bowser or Petey throw lightning fast to make up with it. -I think in Toy field they make you bat better and run faster.

I didn't even realize how the stamina worked, so that's good to know🤙 Imo, I usually like to go for all-around characters because I feel like their balanced stats are helpful in each area, and it doesn't feel like there's too many weak links in certain areas (King boo is my favorite for this reason, and it's befitting since he's my favorite regardless lol)

I think I found out what the fielding stat is. I think it is bobble rate in toy field. I was experimenting and people with lower fielding bobbled a ton more than players with higher fielding. I don’t think it has much to do with normal games as you said that many characters have the same bobble chance in exhibition.

Some context from Superstar Baseball. The displayed stats don't do anything there, and given that both games have the same developers, its likely that its the same here. With regards to Yellow Toad and Dark Bones. Toad actually has a stronger charge swing bat that Pianta and Bowser Jr in Superstar but his displayed batting stat was significantly lower than both of them. It's possible they pulled a similar trick here. As for Dark Bones, Bloody Dry Bones (MSSB Dark Bones) has a slightly higher power stat at the cost of good contact area compared to the other Dry Bones variants. Its possible the same exchange was made here. I'm curious how batting RNG factors into character stats since Sluggers randomly decides whether your swings will be homeruns or not. I'm curious if there's a hidden stat that correlates to more frequently getting "homerun" hits with power hitters like Petey compared to someone like Baby Peach. One last thing, its possible that there are stats you're not considering. MSSB has differing character hitboxes, diving lengths, bat lengths, and contact zones that drastically impact how characters play, and I'd be shocked if stats such as that don't exist in this game.

Huh, I never knew about secret stats. I usually made a team full of Captains because they all can link up well in a specfic order.

Pro tip: If you have doubts on which character you should put on any part of your team, just put Mario or Luigi, they are good at everything lmao

Interesting to find out how the stamina works. It's almost like, for longer games, better pitchers would act as an inverse relief pitcher. I want to do a complete analysis on every player to determine what position each fits best.

The fielding stat always confused me as I originally thought it was tied to throwing speed, which apparently isn't the case. Though, my real question is why Tiny Kong, who is Dixie's _younger sister_ , clearly older than Dixie in this game? I mean, what are we to believe, that they are magic monkeys or something?
