It's hard to really pin point who's the best footballer ever since the game has changed so much over the years and players have different positions. I never saw Pele play, and most people who have an opinion today never seen Pele in his prime nor Maradona for that matter. But in tearms of accomplishments, Messi is by far the greatest footballer of all time. It's just hard to say for certain if he is the most talented footballer of all time because of how the game has changed and how much more access you have to games now than before. But i'd say he's up there with the few best of the best in terms of talent to, and he's certainly the most talented footballer in the last 20 years.
