I created a house cleaning business when my daughter was in high school. I worked 9 to 3 or 10 to 3. I called it executive home management and I only worked for really wealthy people who had really nice clean houses. I never worked by the hour. I did X amount of work for X amount of money and I made incredibly good money! If one of my clients got fussy or demanding I'd fire them and put in the next person who was on my waiting list. I was in great shape because I worked out all day, I could eat anything I wanted and I made great money! It was wonderful! The funny part was that then I became an interior designer because I said I was. I ran into the same women who I'd cleaned for but now I worked also for Better Homes and Gardens magazine and they wanted me to do stories on their houses. One of them looked at me and said you look familiar? I told her yes I used to clean your house. I laughed inside. I was the same person but they had obviously judged Me by what I did. I never did feature their houses LOL but I am published in Better Homes and Gardens magazine, wrote the articles, staged the photoshoot and had a wonderful time doing it!

i decided to get into college in my very late twenties. professors try to let me know that i will fail all the time, sometimes even question why i am there, because i lack basic knowledge in maths (due to secondary education). in truth, they are selective little dipshits that think education is made "for winners only". cry it out, then laugh in their faces! if they do not believe in the things you can do with grit and determination, they are the stupid ones. you will EXCEL in this.

I grew up telling myself I wanted to be married and have my first child by 25 and that's exactly what happened. 14 months later, I had my second child, and now I pray by next year I will be blessed by God with my third child. I also wanted a horse of my own and I have one; and I start school Monday to be a Massage Therapist and I am confident in God to help me through it and be a successful student and graduate with amazing grades. :) I am thankful to Jesus for this opportunity.

I have been doing that though eversince in my own way, been inspiring my friends and people who's kinda confused and feeling hopeless but this, I found really interesting and I believe I can help more people given the proper knowledge but at the moment because of COVID 19 my finances is limited. Maybe one day, I am trying to manifest money so hopefully soon I can enrol in ur course, I amm so excited to be a part of it and to learn a lot about it xx

I was reading Jermaine Jackson's book and in the beginning pages he's in a hotel room doodling on the mirror from the shower he's had and he's scared stiff his brother will be sent down in the courtroom and he talks about the technique of see it, think it, believe it and make it happen. See his brother walking free, creating the image in his head, believe that there is a way forward because his methods for success had happened before because he thought if he could see it see his brother walking free it would happen but I just wanted to share this from a very successful family that initially used that advice to get where they were, they saw it, so it created a picture in their minds. Then, think about it, how to get there and believed in themselves and that's a pretty powerful message when Marissa is basically saying the same thing.

The subconscious programming that we receive as young children shapes our beliefs. Some of these serve to tide us up and help us to be loving and kind... some are limiting beliefs and they hold us back. There are ways to identity these limiting beliefs and replace them with useful ones.

I wrote a book and asked my sister to read it to see if it was good, she told me it was very childish, I put that book away and never looked at it again. I recently wrote another book I sent it to two publishers I was told by many people that I would get a lot of knock backs, and I believed that, but they both liked it so I looked at their reviews and picked the one with the best. I was offered a publishing deal, my sister told me she didn’t read the other book. I didn’t let her read my new book and didn’t send her a free copy she was very angry and said I was arrogant, my book was published last September because of lockdown I couldn’t do any book signings and only a few of my friends bought it, two have given me good reviews but a couple of people said it had a sudden end they wanted more, I’m not sure what they meant but it’s too late the book is out there lol my next one is in editing now but the person who edited it took a chunk out and didn’t notice then proceeded to tell me I should bulk it up and make the end better I had already thought about a sequel but she told me I should write one I’m not ready to do that book yet I’m on two others, my writers name is Isabelle Howe and my first book is called save me. I’m 61 years old and all my life I was told I was not good enough and I was stupid. I have raised five children and am now raising four of my grandchildren ages between 19 and 7 years I have been a mother since I was 16 and have been married 3 times my life hasn’t been easy because of my conditioning but I have the reigns on my life now I hope I live long enough to enjoy it now lol

The fact is I am highly intelligent and told it often by people who respect me ... so, I’m here to erase those damaging programs, and clear them off for good . He was very lavish on himself with trips and smoking and dining out and treating friends to drinks but when it came to kids we were shoved to the wayside as a bother. I totally understand the ''affirming the opposite of your limiting beliefs thing'' but, regarding the 1st part of the video, if we use scripting for our limiting beliefs and reproduce them in our mind, this fides no risk of focusing on them and making them prominent? Like does the mind really understand the 'I am NOT that anymore'? Does the mind really understand the past, the not?

Lately I have been wondering who is more powerful, my mind or God. It seems like if my mind makes the decision about me and my life, God cannot do anything for me. I truly want a better life, a great life, a home for my family, but the best job I can find pays so little. How else can I change my life? I ask myself. But then I think about circumstances. Sometimes we’re just stuck in the circumstance we’re born into. At least that’s what life has shown me. How else can I have more and be more? Sometimes all I can say to myself is, I don’t know. My knowledge is limited and I wish I had better opportunities.

Hi Marissa, I notice that you haven't mentioned a person's age. Can older age be a block to certain successes?

No success has no limitations. The only limitation is your mindset regarding age and success. If you internalise "I'm too old to be successful" then that assumption will materialise in your reality.

I like your answer, but we live in an ageist society in America. There will be people who will chose a younger person over an older person for certain jobs. So I think it depends on what an older person is trying to be successful at.

@@rachelsmename6 I fully get where you are coming from, I found all this just think positive a bit woo woo when I first started it. I recently went for a job interview that I had no experience in, and managed to land it - i was just about throwing up before the interview, and simply said no this is your old mindset talking, this job is yours. I found Marissa and Law of Assumption videos helped me. Wish you all the best for a successful future!

That was really bizarre when a Jewish man didn't want his wife go to work. My teacher, a very prominent and learned rabbi's wife, worked all her life, so that her husband would devote his time and effort in learning Torah as occupation. I also worked in an office who mostly emplyed Torah learning husband's wives, who supported their husbands in their learning. He is definitely not a representative of Jewish men. We men and women, work. Its a commandment to be self supportive wether employed or in business.
