Of course once a railway's been built the hard work doesn't end there (as Network Rail will testify). For the man who just wants to turn the railway on and get going this isn't great news . . . .

David Pratt did a feature in Garden Rail magazine about making a track cleaning wagon similar to Marks although his was more based on the one they use on Bekonscot Model village's railway. I think I'll have a crack at building one but I must remember to buy a new toilet brush. LOL.

Yeah the Garden Railway was a great series! It is just too bad that they didn't make another series.

kingbubadoon ollie. I think when they say specialist magazine, they're referring to a magazing on whatever subject. In this case, it's a train magazine.

The only problem I see with that cleaning wagon I that it really won't get the track clean.

Do neighbours come and visit these great gardens? Are children allowed in - and to mess with the trains?
@skilledarma6 жыл бұрын
hntrains it's a public railway anyone can walk around. No touching
@hntrains26 жыл бұрын
They look like private gardens to me.
@skilledarma6 жыл бұрын
Oh, yes. Most of the ones shown are private, people could write in to have theirs features. However, Bekonscot model village and a couple of the large scale ones were public :)

+Adam Swindell I'm not. Though I see why you'd think that. Anywho, what I'm trying to say is that there's no reason why you should be offended by a finger if you won't let other people get offended by a flag. Also, maybe he doesn't know it's wrong.

Magical Portal I posted that comment almost two years ago, I took offense to near everything. Now I've matured and don't really take offense to much no more.
