I remember in the early 2000s Mark Jackson went on tv and said Kobe Bryant will go down as the greatest player of all time. I always appreciated Mark Jackson as one of the very few people in media to give Kobe his flowers when he was alive and playing. Definitely one of the greatest broadcasters ever and deserves another shot at coaching

True story:Been watching Street Ball or And 1 since the Mid 90's and never heard that "Escalade" Troy Jackson is Mark Jackson's little brother. Loved his game and always thought he was smooth as a big man with passing and shooting ability. Rest easy big man and condolences and shout out to Mark for having that much respect to not overshadow him in life or death.
