What a tremendous and keenly developed talent. Mark Knopfler continues to contribute music that endures through all the trends and changes in society. He's so versatile as to be amazing. First capturing my notice with the songs One World and Money For Nothing....the entire Brothers in Arms album, time ticked by and like every year or so I'd hear some amazing song and sure enough it was Knopfler. My kids and grandfather raved over the song and video "Coyote". He can lay down the mellowest yet dynamic of notes and chords that draws you right in and takes ahold of you. Who would have thought that one artist could do so much crossover with forays into different genres? Me and my ex just listened to the video "Long Cool Girl". She's still my ex but right after that song we couldn't help but to...well, you know.
