A song made by mark wakefield, the vocalist of the band xero (becoming hybrid theory and then linkin park, after mark was gone) after leaving his band xero because of the lack of success

Once the band recruited Chester Bennington, they heard him sing. They didn't think that "Xero" was the perfect name anymore, due to Chester's voice. So they decided to change the band name from "Xero" to "Hybrid Theory". Their band name only lasted for a year- not even. After a few attempts to make a record deal they finally made the sign-in. The band once again changed their name from "Hybrid Theory" to a "Linkin Park". They used "Hybrid Theory" as the album name.

@SuperiorApostate as mark wakefield left xero they got chester and phoenix (im not sure about phoenix though) and formed the band hybrid theory they released an ep with 6 songs and had some singles like She Couldn't then they had problems with an already existing hybrid theory band and changed the name to lincoln park so people would know its a new band from there to get some attention

I doubt LP is dead. Although Chester was such a pillar of the band, he was just lead vocalist IIRC. Shinoda was the main creative force behind it.

Cross3061980 Not true. Chester was heavily involved in the writing process, him and Mike always worked together on lyrics, on their own respective parts. You really think Mike was writing lyrics about "Breaking the Habit", for instance?

Chester wrote music, Mike felt a lot of the material Chester did with Dead By Sunrise wouldnt fit their sound, which is why Chester did DBS. IDK if Mike, just Mike, will be the same, it wont be tbqh. Hip hop, idk man, I love rap, hell I love Fort Minor, but Dead by Sunrise, Fort Minor, and LPark are all different. Idk if it ever happen, but id love to see someone like Amy Lee join Linkin Park. I havent seen Evanescence done jack and her voice is beautiful, it be different too, but I think that could work tbh.

This sounds more like the forgotten punk bands of the 90s. Good music on its own, but lost in a crowd of overproduced clones. Glad Linkin park found its unique sound. They are now one of the most unique, influential bands ever!

Virtual Conqueror why the fuck should Mark have the privilege of returning to Linkin Park and riding on Chesters coat tails and benefit from Linkin Parks success and hard work when Mark abandon the band bc he felt they weren't successful quick enough for him. Mark invested two years of his time. Chester and Linkin Park as a whole have invested about 18 years. Fuck Mark he don't deserve to be a part of LP and he would probably butcher Chesters parts or the entire song as a whole. Wonder what Mark did with his life, bet he was no where near as successful as LP has been. Mark obviously wasn't truly committed or he wouldn't have left the way he did, and he damn sure don't deserve a free ride now that a lot of the hard works been done. Yeah they would have to come up with new music eventually but it won't ever be what Chester and LP have created. Mark would probably just abandon them again and I doubt Mike would be interested. Mike's going in a different direction right now, still dealing with the lose of Chester and He seems to be in the process of finding his self again. I think he may have lost a part of himself along the way not necessarily in a bad way. He's just ready to do things differently then before as he grows and moves along into the next phase of his life. I'm so proud of Mike he damn sure don't need Mark or any of the b.s. from their past together to bring him down or hold him back. It's time for Mike to be 100% true to himself.

Mark’s not that bad besides Chester sing One of his songs I do like Chester but Mark seems similar as Mike and Chester and if Mark sing one of Chester‘s songs like new divide or numb he will be amazing in Chester would still be alive if you didn’t kill himself and I know that’s not his fault he was depressed he deserve peace now But mark is the only lead singer left I mean sure Mike is the creator and he’s the only singer left but mark can always come back besides he was the lead singer ones

@@charlotteyohe3542 you know his name not his story, you just can't assume he left just to he a dick, he left cause he was offered a job with Beno at velvet hammer. He's been there for 20 years now, he also created the cover for SOADs album toxicity, also he's still great friends with mike and the gang. A few years back he recorded a song called Barack your world, with mike under the name White Pegacorn. He was also featured in on of Mike's new video for his album.

Listen more carefully. Mark has ALWAYS been with LinkinPark. Mark did not leave the band. He joined the military and while he was in boot camp the band got signed with Warner Brothers but Jeff Blue didn't look out for Mark's interest because he wanted chester instead of Mark. There's a huge story full of foul play on the part of Jeff Blue and how the band sold out instead of holding out to include the catalyst to their success.
