I *really* like how cool the second game is. this is one of the rare situations where it gets scarier as time goes on. at first you think, with the lights and the spooky radio noises that its going to be a typical demon/ghost horror game. but when I first saw the emergency warning I starting realizing what was actually happening and it got a LOT scarier. horror games that are based in reality are so much scarier. super cool.

I like how Mark kept joking about the grandma thing to the point he forgot he was joking and really thought the antagonist was a demented old lady rather than a francoist murderer demon

The second game had me thinking "invasion" long before the nuclear warnings, random explosions and gunshots in the distance, power interruptions, so on. I'd say it gets scarier the more you think about how *real* that actually is...

I'll be honest, getting nuked is a legit fear of mine so the second game really scared me.

Little Nightmares 2 has taught me that the Weeping Angel mechanic is flawless as a horror concept, you would think the scary factor would be broken when the gameplay revolves around 2D zones, but it still feels terrifying.

SOME HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL CURIOSITIES ABOUT THE FIRST GAME: - ROJO (Red) it's how the spanish communists were named in the dictatorship - Generalísimo was how it was called Franco, the dictator of that time. - You can see Spains Flag with a Black eagle on one of the walls: thats the Flag of the "Falange", and it has the same connotation as the nazi Flag (so you can understand it) - The Black and White TV shows a documental of the past, in the dictatorship time - The funeral that you can see in the other TV it's actually Franco's funeral - catholithsm was really important in Spain, thats why the great number of Jesus and virgin María that are on the pictures. Also we can watch on the walls some propaganda from the dictatorship and pictures of Franco and King Juan Carlos (now ex King of the country) - The four notes on the piano to unlock the door are the first four notes of the Spanish Anthem Hope this helps you to understand a little bit the context of the game :)

Damn... If that second game was fleshed out, it would have been an amazing game. Starting off slow, you think this is just another random solo horror game in a house (which isn't bad, just sets up the subverted expectations), then noticing all the small subtle hints that you're not the only one experiencing this while things are happening in your own home, and it ends up in a full-blown chaotic event that literally affects everything and everyone around you, to the point of a nuclear explosion to 'control' whatever was happening. The potential storytelling for such a set of events, what this could be, etc. is staggering to me. The person who made that game did a great job with what he had.

The grandma game just made me laugh the entire time because of mark, fully knowing that it’s supposed to be a horror game but instead it’s like mark is chasing after his delusional grandma.

In the first game, it’s a little detail but I like when Mark tries to open a door it says “this door won’t open” but after he gets the key it says “this key doesn’t open this door”. It’s a nice touch.
