Exactly, this game just tries way too hard to be scary and its funny honestly. I think the 90s VHS aesthetic is way too overused and ESPECIALLY with the analog horror genre. This game isn't even that original either, it's literally just the scp foundation with creepy pastas instead.

Who’s to say they’re not also demons or whatever just trapped in a mechanical form? 🤔 The concept of a demon getting stuck in an animatronic body after trying to use it for whatever reason is actually somewhat funny to me lmao. I saw someone say something about you doing this because you dont have a desk, but even when you get a desk back, I think I'd still prefer that bathtub setup tbh.

I think it's really cool that for once, the training actually feels like training. It's not used to spook. The audio transcription trainer is a really unique thing that makes sense that agents would need to know and practice. Even the entity 101 was pretty logical and just made sense as to why it would be taught.

0:50 Fun fact: This is a "day for night" shot. There were numerous versions of this technique that were deployed many times during early filming (and still gets used even to this day) to get around having to shoot a "nighttime" scene during daylight hours, largely due to budgetary and/or lighting issues.

I did creative media in college, and I would have to add a "night" effect during editing, or you couldn't see anyone in the dark. Even if you brightened the scene, it would come out too bright.

It's also sometimes VERY funny because once you know to look for it, you can pretty easily find bad day-for-night shots where everything is just. A sunny day but blue.
