It's a common misconception that when a stock you buy skyrockets, the smart thing to do is sell it (or at least sell some of it) to lock in your profits. But the context matters. If the stock has increased sharply because the business is performing exceptionally well, it could still be a bargain. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas...

Investment goals address three major themes regarding money and money management. First, they intersect with a life plan that engages our thought processes in unexpected ways. Second, they generate accountability, forcing us to review progress on a periodic basis, invoking discipline when needed to stay on track. Third, they generate motivation that impacts our non-financial selves in positive ways that can improve health and mental outlook.

Parental figures set the tone for investment goals early in life, teaching us to delay gratification until we can break the piggy bank, allowing those coins to buy video games, clothes or equipment. The intimate connection between investment and lifestyle grows more sophisticated as the years pass. The culmination of your working life is either a comfortable retirement - or a struggle to make ends meet.

I had an assignment when I was in 9th grade called a "reality check" where we did a quiz about what our dream job was and what kinda car/transportation and what kinda house and the lifestyle that we'd want to live, and then at the end we got our "reality check" about what kind of house/car/lifestyle we would ACTUALLY be able to live based on our yearly salary of our dream job. Kinda messed up honestly.

I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time .This comment serves as motivation for all those who have invested and continue to invest in cryptocurrencies with so many losses, do not give up, cryptocurrencies can change your life. Do your best to connect with the right people and you will surely see changes.

10.000 to 697.421 sounds like a lot of upside and it is, but if you think about how much money 10.000 was in 1980 it changes quite a lot. It was basically a half years worth of income. That would be the equivalent purchasing power of about 35.000 today. The increase is still massive over 40 years but keep in mind that you have to invest quite a lot to maybe see similar gains if you start today.

Since becoming disabled in a car accident etc. I haven't worked in 3 year's sadly and have had plenty of phisical and mental health issues. I now am in debt and my credit is shot and my family is struggling and even at times suffering. This hurts. I watched this video knowing that it's too good to be true because of the old but true saying that "it takes money to make money" even though the title of the video says you can make money starting with zero but the video said differently. Or a theater room connected to a living room, separate laundry, kitchen the size of half your first floor and a pool? Best thing about that house was privacy. It was still nice to live and and a dream come true. If I can do it so can you.
