▶️ Indian Street Food Tour: • Eating INDIAN STREET F...
I can’t believe I’m in Damascus, Syria!! Today we’re going on an ultimate Syrian street food tour in Damascus - let’s see what types of amazing food we can try!
► Huge thank you to Rami, from Syrian Guides (syrianguides.com/), he arranged my entire trip to Syria. Get in touch with him for an amazing tour in Syria!
Al-Haytham Restaurant - As soon as I arrived in Damascus, Rami and I went straight to eat one of the ultimate of all meals - hummus and fateh, and this place is local and does it so well. Total price: 48,000 SYP ($3.20) for everything
Al-Burj Shawarma - Syria has some of the best shawarma that I’ve ever had anywhere in the world - and they do it in a unique way by dipping the bread in the juicy oils and touching it on the hot griddle to enhance the flavor. Price - Chicken 25,000 SYP ($1.66), Lamb 35,000 SYP ($$2.33)
To continue with this Syrian street food tour in Damascus, we continued with some old town street food including corn sliced and seasoning, an amazing old bakery that cooked a triangle of dough filled with muhammara!
Arbasheh Falafel - To continue this Syrian food tour we then had a falafel sandwich, and just like Syrian shawarma, they might make the best falafel in the world. I’ve never seen so many vegetables and toppings on any falafel - it’s truly amazing! Price - 10,000 SYP ($0.66)
Kibbeh - Kibbeh is one of the national foods of Syria, and this street stall specializes in bulgur stuffed with lamb, and grilled or boiled.
Al-Mahabba Restaurant - One of the ultimate Syrian meals you have to try is a mixture of stuffed intestines and organs, along with pickled. This restaurant was hilarious and delicious! Total price - 300,000 SYP ($20)
Alzwwaq Chicken - Just like shawarma and falafel, there’s nothing quite like Syrian roast chicken - it’s on another level! They roasted the chicken and then sliced it into a sandwich, with garlic sauce and pickles, and roasted the bread in the chicken fat juices - absolutely amazing - and something you have to try when you’re in Damascus, Syria! Price - 65,000 SYP ($4.33) for half chicken
We had an amazing and ultimate day eating Syrian street food in Damascus - seriously a food paradise!

Do you know that Syria in the early twentieth century and under the ottoman empire had the third of it's population as Christians😮 , and after European christian colonization carried out by french in Syria and in Lebanon and Britain in Palestine, which decomposed the ottoman empire, now christians in Syria reduced from 33% of population to just 5% and in Lebanon from 66% as a majority to 33% and Palestine from 10 % before Israeli occupation 1948 to less than 2% of the population. Do you know before American occupation of Iraq 2003 the christians were 4 times their number now😮? Christians were 25% of all Arab region population in the early 20th century and under the ottoman empire, now christians are just 5% of the Arab region population 😮. That proves strongly the christians lived much better under Islam empires for 1300 years , and their matters deteriorated only after European christian colonization and american infringement in the region 😮

What makes Syrian food so special isn't just the talent of the chefs, the ancient recipes, the unique flavours and combinations, but also the fact that Syrian food is all from Syria. All the meat, fruit, and vegetables are local, they are not imported from Iraq, or Europe, or wherever. This means the ingredients are super fresh, non-GMO, organic, and everything you eat came only an hours drive away at most.

@@Zikkim-bx1iy No that is not true in government held Syria, maybe it's true in Turkish occupied Syria in the North, that they get most of their food from Turkey. You can see import data for Syria online, furthermore there is a scientific paper titled "The Resilience of Syrian Agriculture" which outlines key ways in how Syria is food self-sustainable despite the lack of GMO food. Syria has incredibly fertile soil, you can sow the lands over and over. Syria allows anyone to own farm animals and have them roam around the entire country, like the side of highways, in city streets, in ancient sites, in the mountains, farm animals are pretty much everywhere, and they're eating natural grass and plants and not manufactured grains. There are also specific Syrian government farming policies dating back to the 70's preparing for war with Israel, and the sanctions from the United States has made Syria a self-sustaining food resilient country. Further evidence is that Syria also has one of the largest seed banks in the world. In this video you can see Mark says Syrian shawarma and rotisserie is the best, and he just came from Turkey. Turkey is becoming more concrete and less farm as time goes on, it reduces the freshness of the flavours in the meat. Same with Lebanon. That is why Syria is number 1, there is no factory farming, it is pure, natural, hard-working, farming with the benefit of free-roaming animals.

You should find some Russian food as well and you should smile the blood in the food in a country controlled by the most criminal dictator on earth. Six million Syrians have been displaced outside their country, in addition to thousands of dead, wounded, and missing because of this criminal, murderous regime. You are an American, Mark, and your values do not allow you to visit Syria, which is ruled by a criminal, brutal, dirty, cowardly, and terrifying person.

Thanks man! This is great. I am not Syrian; I am Turkish, but I felt very sorry for Syria being destroyed after the war. Seeing Damascus doing well made me so happy. Your video is so nice because it shows that Syria can be remembered as an ordinary, nice country instead of just the civil war. I hope they can stand up again and live happily in Syria.

God almighty says *Jesus, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded.* Qur’an 5:75 God doesn't required to eat to drink to sleep. God is Independent of All. Allah is our God. And Jesus Christ instructed to believe in Allah and worship him alone. Also he told us to believe in Last and Final Messanger Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Jesus declared, *“I am truly a servant of Allah. He has destined me to be given the Scripture and to be a prophet.* (Quran)
