It is blaming one guy, but in the playoffs your studs have to be the studs man. Just like in the NFL, the QB gets more credit and more blame then they deserve. Sid, Ovi, McKinnon, Gretz, Messier, Malkin, Kane, Vasi, etc. These guys are all stars and they shined the brightest when it mattered most.

I dont care how many so called playoff type players you add to a team. If your stars arent the best players on the ice for your team, they will not win in the playoffs. You can have a billion regular season points, but if you arent producing or leading from the front in the playoffs the team has no shot. Especially on a team like the Leafs where a couple guys are making so much money. There is a reason guys like Sid, Stamkos, Kuch, Bergeron all took a little less, it is so they could be surrounded with more talent top to bottom. Toronto could sure use a guy like Hyman right now digging out some greasy goals.

Leafs are a top 10 team but not top 5. So them being down 3 games to 1 is not shocking. Bruins beat them every game this year easily. Why are people shocked by the same thing in the playoffs. Also had bad luck and goaltending wasn't as stellar. Healthier players and a bit more luck and easily we could be up 3-2. I'm a bit surprised x players are so surprised. Why aren't they going after the other teams that are down 3-1. I love the Leafs but they were never a top cup contending team this year.

That Leafs core is insanely soft. Just compare how Casey Mittelstadt and Mitch Marner have played in their series so far. Similar sized guys, both playmakers, but Mitts is a madman for winning puck battles while Marner looks like he's scared of getting hit in a goddamn playoff game. Mitts has NEVER BEEN IN THE PLAYOFFS BEFORE by the way! You'd think Marner would have an edge from experience alone but nope

Carolina hasn’t looked all that great. Got outplayed in game 1, lucky to win game 2. They could easily be down 3-1. We’ll see how it shakes out next round. Biz can go suck it.

Marchand a lock for the hall Biz? Shouldn’t character and style of play be considered? - most suspended player in NHL history. Slew foots, spearing, elbowing, clipping, low-bridge. Then there’s the fines, licking guys faces. I respect the guys talent and he’s an absolute horse when it comes to the big moments but his antics shouldn’t be rewarded with a prestigious induction into the great hall. It’s not like he had one bad year of behaviour. He doesn’t learn, doesn’t care, and still makes dangerous plays out there including that most recent uncalled slew foot on Bert

Can somebody please tell @ESPN to get rid of Subban as a commentator and bring on another one of the chiclets boys? I don’t dislike the guy and I know he was a decent player. He’s just a terrible commentator. Brings no value to the broadcast.
