Stamkos is not going to sign for less than $7-8M AAV to come back and play in Tampa and prob $9M+ AAV if it’s elsewhere. Similar to Joe Pavelski back in 2019 was 34 yr old when he left the Sharks for Dallas and signed him to a 3 year deal worth $21M ($7M AAV) … They’re also in talks to extend Hedman before his contract is up next season 2024/25. I could see a scenario where both Stammer and Hedman sign matching contracts. They will likely have to make trades and get fancy with the cap but I can see this being done.

That's what I thought! After last game, for tonight I took a Marchand and Domi 2+ shots, and Bertuzzi and Tavares 3+ shots, at +597, looking at previous shots on goal through 5 games it should have been a lock! March has like 12, Domi 14, Tavares 18 and Bert 17, but here we are end of 1st, Domi has 1, Tyler ans JT and March all have 0. Maybe they'll pick it up, but I just knew it seemed too good to be true.

Unfortunately Leafs playing at home is not a statistical advantage. Fun to live for another game. Regardless of outcome, Leafs are awesome and a stud goalie and a bit more bottom 6 and D depth from being a true contender.

anyone take a guess what Ryan Whitneys square footage of the house he currently lives in is?... 5980 sq ft. essentially 6000 sq ft. nearly 2000 more than what he's busting Biz's Balls for. not to mention biz is probably in a pretty secluded area where there's not a ton of other people houses around.
