My husband is average looking and so when we first met I wasn't instantly attracted to him. But as we went out w/ group/friend settings and got to know him better & better he became the most handsome man for me. Now we are 18 yrs happily married and continuing growing stronger & stronger. This season was the best, and I really really hate they had to go thru the loss of their child, it will get better, stay strong and lean on one another, I did not have that with my loss, it still hurts, but I take comfort in we will be together again one day

When someone isn't your "type", you usually aren't instantly attracted to them. Usually by the time you marry someone, you love them so deeply that doesn't matter anymore. That wasn't their situation, so can't blame her for her gut reaction. I wish they wouldn't hold it against her so much.. Clearly she loves him deeply now and for who he is. And with everything they've gone through since this video was filmed, they clearly are a strong couple. Sticky baby dust goes out to them right now!

I am exactly, EXACTLY like Jamie and ir takes a special man like Doug to make me feel comfortable enough to make me fall in love.....sadly special Doug is taken 😔, so I vow to remain single for the rest of my life....3 things od no return for me in a relationship: 1) an arrogant person that kept reminding me how better he is than me. 2) expressing that you don't love me, even jokingly. 3) saying you're going to leave me, even jokingly. As soon as, I see or heard any of those 3 I immediately check out and guards are up, evacuation plan is in motion. Good thing is not I always clearly stated those facts to anyone in my life, even my friends. (PS. I never mentioned those words or display such attitude in any relationship) I suffer from abandonment and the sense of not being good enough so if I hear my friend or partner say or feel that way about me, then it comfirms my fear and I recoil and there no turning back from that point and no 2nd chance. Good thing is that, I am 100% fine being alone for the rest of my life. I never feel lonely being alone except when I am sick and even then, I remind myself, there's always a good Samaritan somewhere that will take care of me.
