The lesson to take from this: Don't be superficial and put SO MUCH weight on first appearances. You never know the package your soul mate will be delivered in.

I wish they would stop making them talk about how she didn't find him attractive right of the bat.. I imagine it makes him feel a bit insecure. and since she obviously likes him now it shouldn't really matter.

I always though he was a good looking guy. especially when he takes off his shirt. But his personality is incredible.

A lot of people on here are talking about Doug's 'unattractiveness'. He seems like a really good guy and, yes, he became more attractive as she and we all (in watching the show) got to know him. He seems patient, kind, and dotes on her; is willing to make her happy. I think he deserves a good woman and if she is good to him, then it's a good fit.

I love this couple !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reminds me of how i felt about my husband at first... I thought he was cute but the more I got to know him the more attractive he was and my love for him is so deep because it wasn't based on superficial things. We are going on 13 years. I pray jamie and doug have a long life together !

This definitely show you not judge a book by the cover. I watched that season. I thought he treated her with so much love and care from the beginning. I wish them a long lasting marriage.

They are my fave couple from married at first sight of all time. And I am so happy they never gave up on each other. They went thru ups and the downs but they always stuck by each other. I love this couple. The way they look at each other here 😍😍😍😍

I agree with Doug on building a foundation before kids. I think they do have a good relationship so build on that. Once kids come into the picture, you have less time to focus on each other BC the baby takes up most of your time. He's pretty wise in doing this and thinking things through instead of just saying yes to everything she wants.

If I can say Jamie is so very lucky to have a man like Doug , I absolutely love Doug And yes he is handsome, he is just so calm and patient and understanding.

Doug's personality is great. He's so sure of himself, comfortable with himself and with other people. I liked him right off, but Jamie only saw his moles and lazy eye. A person can become beautiful to you if they say the right things and their personality is beautiful.

Omg, Doug is sooo perfect for Jaime. I wish them nothing but the best of this world. They give me hope finding love, even if its with a perfect stranger lol💜🕊💁‍♀️
