u cant compare anyone to the players u listed above, cuz those players are another level, Marta is nothing compared to Pele, as Pele have played the real football with strong players, but marta have skills but playing with less strength players which could be easily tricked with the skills.

Sure mens bodys are biologically stronger in their pure form but clothes and training back then were worse. You don't know if pele would even be able to play professional nowadays because the professional level is so dense. Womans football is still in its early developing years and there aren't teams full of incredible talents like we got it in mens football due to the lower participation and people still not appreciatintlg it and so not that much money to get girls into the sport as you can not live of football if your not elite and that obviously slowes down the youth academy skill progress.

That's kinda an insult to Marta really. Ronaldinho was supremely talented but extremely lazy, he never fulfilled his potential. He could have been the best player ever, but after he won 1 champions league with Barca and 1 world cup with Brazil, he just kinda gave up, moved to AC Milan, got chubby, and was never the same again. Very soon after being the best player in the world, only a few years later, he had already been rejected by Europe and had to go back to play in Brazil for Brazilian clubs. With Marta there's no question about it, she's the best ever. It's that simple. She's supremely talented and incredibly hard working (to keep up that skill level for so long, her longevity is astounding too). It's not like men's football where there's like 5-10 different players who are debatably the best player ever, and everyone has their own favourite, and everyone argues about it all the time and nobody can come to any sort of conclusion because there's not a objective way to measure these things. No, nobody debates that Marta is the GOAT. Everyone just accepts that she is. She's that far ahead of everyone else that you don't need to measure it. She's the first footballer of any gender to score at 5 different world cups and also has the record of most goals scored by a footballer of any gender in a single world cup with 17 goals, which is frankly insane, it's unbelievably good. Her longevity is one of her best attributes too, and that's not something she's "naturally" good at, nobody is. It's something you have to train for, there's no quick easy shortcut to it. To stay at such a high level for so long, you have to train so hard, all the time, you never take a holiday, you always eat exactly what the sports scientists tell you to eat with zero cheat meals ever, etc, and keep all that up for 20 years. I don't know how people like her do it. Ryan Giggs was similar, his longevity was one of his best attributes too and it's because he worked incredibly hard at it also. Or like there's a guy in baseball called Ichiro Suzuki who was legendary for his superhuman longevity because of his training and diet plan, to the point where even legends from other sports would get in contact with him and asked him if Ichiro could teach them what he does. Like Tom Brady, probably the most well known NFL player ever. He contacted Ichiro, with Ichiro being Japanese and only caring about baseball and no other sports, and so he had no idea who Brady was. But he helped him anyway, and now Brady himself is known for a similarly superhuman level of longevity just like Ichiro is. Seeing Ronaldinho is the best example to show someone who thinks that talent is "natural" (as if we evolved to play an arbitrary sport where you kick a ball around) and that people who are very talented "don't have to workout as much". Talent is unnatural, it's always learned, you aren't born with it. To be talented at anything you have to train for it, it won't be handed to you. Every single talented person was terrible when they first began training as a kid, and continued to be terrible for a while before it eventually clicked with them. We just only see the end product, so we think they're "naturally" talented. And calling someone "naturally talented" or "gifted" is spitting in their face, it's insulting. It's saying to them that they never had to work hard for it, that they were just born great. It's a real asshole move to say something like that to someone talented. No, every single talented person had to work hard at it, for years and years. The best trainers are the best players. It's always been that way. And yeah, Ronaldinho started off that way as a youngster, but then got lazy with it and all his talent dried up fast, even though only a few years before he'd been the best player on the planet. If that doesn't prove that talent is all hard work (even to maintain the level you're at, let alone progress to a higher level) then I don't know what will. Even the best player in the world will sink down into irrelevance in only 2 or 3 years if they stop training at it. By all accounts though, Ronaldinho was happier that way, living an easier life, living in his home country again, having big parties all the time, and working just hard enough to be effective enough in matches in the Brazilian Serie A league. And so good for him, if that's what he wanted. But he could have been the best player ever. People talk about great players all having insane levels of competitiveness and drive and will to win, but they usually mean on the pitch. Like they have that drive during matches only, that's what people generally mean when they say that. But actually for every great player, that drive and will and competitiveness comes during the _TRAINING_ first and foremost. They will get up every day at 5am to begin their workout before they go to training with the club and then come back home in the evening and do even more training etc, and they'll never take a day off, and they'll never have a cheat meal etc. You need an incredible amount to drive to get up every morning and do that, every day for 20+ years. That's why it's so difficult to be great. Having competitiveness and drive on the pitch is useless on its own, you need it on the training pitch every day of your life too. And Marta has that. Ronaldinho didn't, and that isn't a judgement on his character or anything. 99.99% of people aren't like that. He just wanted to live a happy life, and fair play to him, that's fair enough really, he already had more money than he could ever spend anyway so he just wanted to live a happy life, and that's the most important thing, not a silly game. But yeah that's the difference. Marta never gave up like that. That's why she's still around at this advanced age of 37, and still is a great player. And she completely revolutionised women's football too.

Marta can't even remotely play for the men's national team. I'll tell you something that will open your eyes: among the many defeats of Brazil women against Australia I want to remember the match of 21/6/15, World Cup, in which Marta's Brazil lost 1-0 against australia in the round of 16. The next year (27/05/16) Australia will play a friendly against the under 15 Newcastle Jets (the first team in 2016 finished sixth in the Australian championship) and will lose 7-0. One thing to add is that in 2016 Australia was 5th in the Fifa Ranking, and the Newcastle Jets first team in May 2016 was 2407th in the Fifa club rankings. This is to say that there is no competition between the two sexes in football.
