The way Sam used both modern and traditional styles together was definitely the best advice ever given, plus using the Yamazuki. Tori was definitely awesome with her Tang-Soo-Do, making it aggressive and always striking forwards

This fight was "fixed" by Terry Silver, that is why the referee called it "no point", when it clearly was. The tournament had three parts, not just two, Boys, Girls and actions, the actions included breaking boards, using weapons etc... Eli missed one board, that's why Cobra kai won, one fight each plus actions... (sorry for using "actions", it had a name that slipped my mind.)

Season 1 to 4 had your 80s - 90s type fight scenes but season 5 is a lot darker and more intense and slightly more realistic

There was a gentlemen's agreement prior to the tournament: whichever dojo won the overall tournament, the other side had to disband. Cobra Kai won overall, so the Miyagi-Do/Eagle Fang alliance had to disband.

If you saw Kickboxer 2 I would love your reaction for two of the fights- Tong-Po vs. Brian Wagner and Tong-Po vs. David Sloane. Both are awesome matches with one of them less awesome result in an understatement.

Cobra Kai won the overall tournament because even though Miyagi-Do won the boy’s tourney there were things leading up to this that gave Cobra Kai a big lead in points. Miyagi-Do had to win both tournaments to get the overall win.

I'm not sure what tournaments you've done, but most I've done, there are points given for all levels/brackets, so Cobra Kai could have been ahead on lower bracket points, Miyagi Do took the lead by winning boys, but winning girls put Cobra Kai back ahead. Rememeber, in the boys final, they even said 'it puts Miyagi Do in the overall lead'. BTW - if you want to look at something 'classic' and a little corny... Have you ever seen one of the Billy Jack movies?
