Happy Makunouchi Ippo Monday (and Little Mac Monday) if you want more takamura, I’d suggest Boxer no Kobushi, the extra episode of season 1 which is basically takamura’s origin story

The thing you mentioned about eye feints (look at legs, kick legs, look at legs, kick head) is EXACTLY what Lyoto Machida did to Randy Couture when he Crane Kick-KOed him. Machida is exceptionally good at eye feints.

You got to admit Takamura went donkey Kong the way he hold that interviewer. But seriously I think what Takamura did was “its better to be hated only to prove those haters wrong in the ring”

I just started kickweek for my 8 weeks of basic training in Muy Thai and I developed the little rivalry With this one guy as we were kicking and checking for the last 5 minutes cause he blocked with his knee and I was able to kick him in his side nothing too serious but kind of a friendly little rivalry

I love anything you break down. I found you because I have a history and love for Ippo's anime specifically, but I love anything you do. That said, I do hope you look into Kenichi the mightiest desciple fights. They're not as well-done as Ippo's imo but they involve many different martial arts including Muy Thai at times so I hope you'll look into it at least a little

yeah seriously like no one on KZfaq for the most part has reacted to it. And the fights are something else also some of the techniques especially early on are actually valid tools. The stepping method works in real life and is useful as can be for basically any striking art even boxing. You can circle people so hard to them it will almost look like you disappeared. Also the karate blocks they show are pretty much the same inspiration behind stuff like the peekaboo style of boxing. All the basic fundamentals over exaggerated honestly a shame they didn't continue the anime.

So glad I did my fighting at heavyweight, I'm already 6'6" and did a fight at 185lbs when I was 22, at 25 I just saw my full potential at 220lbs and could last more than 2 rounds at my best form. My stamina is naturally bad no matter how much I work at it but at heavyweight I can go for 5 rounds (MMA) but never made it out of ammeture due to severe injuries. I mean even after spinal surgery I'm steady 245lbs and that's just with 2 hours a week which is all I can do and still suffer more than getting punched, kicked, and grappled all day lol

Sweet!!! There is just a few more fights and this shows how angry Takamura can be but people still don't like him for his scandal. Takamura doesn't like feeling like he's disappointing his trio of kohai, he's their senpai. Check out Takamura sparring with Sendo. It's short and sweet

You should watch anime called "rainbow" it's not mainly about boxing per say...but more about journey of getting there...It's no fantasy anime that you can Easily recommend it to anyone who normally never watches anime ...it's easily most underrated anime that ever existed and few people actually knows about it... no fan service, no cheesy cartoonish characters, no plot armor,just brutal realism and it' s motivating as duck piece to make you pick up boxing ^^

@BurridgeMartialArts604

Promotions will have their own belts and titles so a boxer can be a champion of both without giving their title up. However, sometimes it becomes too much to defend all their titles so they will relinquish some
