Did you know that Scott had broken his leg just prior to the filming of this scene? That's why he had to keep his usual arsenal of flying kicks to minimum in this fight.

The first Universal Soldier movie remains my favorite for its exposition and very memorable scenes progressing the plot. But 'Day of Reckoning' takes a solid 2nd place for its insane brutality. Regenerating super soldiers, may I use this as a bridge to hint at 'They Live'?

Safety note to all. Do not watch this movie if you are a photosensitive epileptic. A movie that has come good fight scenes that I just watched recently is 'Jail Break" on Netflix. The first bathroom fight is a good one to watch as is the massive brawl in the cell block that follows that.

Scott's main character should have right fore arm quite in bad shape. It is miracle it still holds on him. Pain to watch. Ouch.

Go watch Day Shift, it's a new action movie with some comedy starring Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg as vampire hunters. Scott plays one of the Kazarian Brothers, Diran who are also vampire hunters. They're part of a secret society of vampire assassins, John Wick meets Blade. Foxx's character Bud and the Kazarians have a seriously epic fight against a horde of vamps about halfway through that you need to react to. But watch the whole movie, it's pretty good with the right amount of cheese.

I don't know if you have seen Van Damme's movie The Quest. It is one of my fav movies. It would make my day if you could react to some of the scenes. The fight scenes are kind of short, its only the last one that is longer. So maybe do a few of them in one video?

I always get this movie confused with Soldier, with Kurt Russell. Idk if that was actually a good movie, but I really liked it as a kid.

I mean these dudes are supposed to be super strong, so blocking a kick with his hand seems very legit. Especially considering he took a machete to the shoulder and walked it off like it was nothing.

Horrible editing, camera all over the place, 180 rule broken over and over. This is a great example of how (most) American action films are inferior to Asian films.
