Gotta say, the chemistry between Marty and Lorraine was much more believable than George and Lorraine or Marty and Jennifer, also given the fact that Michael J. Fox and Lea Thompson were the same age.

i wish we gotta see more of jennifer she was orignally meant to have a big part in the sequel and you can kinda tell by how the movie sets up her importance in the 2nd movie only to leave her as a background character again. Sadly due to personal issues the actress had to leave

You just have to give commendation to Thomas F. Wilson in this film. His portrayal is excellent. Biff can be over the top and a goof (making it look unintentional), and likewise show true menace in a natural realistic way. Very underrated performance.

I met him before in real life. He did a stand-up comedy show for my church back in 2000. That's when I found out he was a stand-up comedian by trade. He explained he modeled Biff from one of the bullies from his high school. Actually the whole Biff routine is part of his act. My guessing his comedy routine occurred before being cast in the movie. I bet his comedic routine us what landed him the part. Great story of him growing up being a geek in the marching band. By the time he became a senior he grew to 6 feet tall and 100 lbs. He then stuffed bullies into their lockers.

Although it's weird for Lorraine to be kissing Marty but let's be honest, it's understandable why she was so head over heels for Marty. Marty protected her from Biff when he was harassing her in the cafeteria. She witnessed him punched the crap out of biff and embarrassed him and his friends during the skateboard chase and made it look easy while looking cool. He stands up to Biff when nobody else does and he's a nice guy who is also nervous around girls which give him a cute side to him. To Lorraine, Marty is her ideal type of man. Too bad that ideal guy turned out to be her literal son but oh well, she got George.

See, now she wouldn't have backed off like that. In fact, there's actually a phenomenon where long lost relatives or siblings who have never met do meet and then have an absurdly intense attraction to each other. Marty would've actually had to shove his mother off him if anything 🤣🤣 & if he succumbed to it he probably would've taken the Family Guy route, yknow, "to be contondered!"

To be fair, you can understand why Lorraine is attracted to Marty. She meets him like she is meant to meet his father where Marty is now the 'little lost puppy'. Also Marty is going to have features that look familiar to Lorraine so she'll feel like she's known him all her life and confuse that with attraction. Also Marty is very mysterious, she doesn't know who he is or where he's come from all she knows is he's this guy who protects her and stares at her intencely nd nervously .
