This model was donated to me by a fan named 'Matt Routh' from North Carolina. Thanks Matt! - This model could literally of found it's way to the tip and been lost for eternity. Luckily, Matt sent it to me with a few others to do up and it was pulled from the brink of abandonment.
This model put up a fight! - I had to dismantle, strip and repaint it 3 times!, hence the late upload this week. Every time I got close to finishing, I would notice a thumbprint or a speck of dust under the clear coat that would be seen and then mentioned by viewers.
I hope that you approve of the finished model. Once again, I gave it my best shot, but of course, it is not the perfect restore which I strive to achieve. Maybe next time.

Excellent work, Marty! You put those decals on without a hitch! The finished product is fantastic! I really admire the refuse workers we have here in the States. Here in NC, they have not missed a single trash pick-up day during the Covid-19 Crisis, and they are obviously exposed to greater risks than other essential workers. They are brave and awesome individuals who have my total respect.

You always do such a good job. Its hard to realize how much trouble it is to do something like this unless you have done it yourself. It makes you appreciate it a lot more. Thanks for the weekly installment of fun relaxing "watching someone else work" video! I believe the hole in the front ( 1:05 ) is for clearing rubbish that may become stuck inside ( for instance when a child plays with it - wierd, I know, right? playing with it? ) since it might get tricky depending what was forced in there. Another cracking makeover .. a matchbox a year younger than me.. I had one too... in uk we called this a bin lorry or rubbish lorry.. you asked about the pin hole.. I seemed to remember it was to use a toothpick to push out something I had stuffed in and wouldn’t come out!
