I loved the swim suit issues. The was one year there was a two page spread of a bunch of superheroe ladies and my cousin had a playboy and several of the women in the playboy matched up perfectly position-wise. Some artist that year obviously copied over the playboy models for the lady superheroes.

Sounds great, and you can't say it's sexist because both men and women are included. Besides, we the fans have done so much worse with these characters with fanfictions.

I actually thought these dumb swimsuit issues were hilarious. I mean, did you not see the Ghost Rider picture? I'd love to see them bring those back; imagine how much funnier they'd be today. We'd even get a story out of it. Think of like those episodes in cartoons where they go to the beach and shenanigans ensue. I doubt it could ever happen considering Marvel's way too PC in recent years, and with the Internet, they don't have to do this kind of stuff.

I have the swimsuit special! Marvel wasn't the first to make a swimsuit edition and they won't be the last. AP (Antarctic Press) have produced many swimsuit editions, with their Ninja Highschool and Gold diggers comics. I hope many other producers follow suit.

oh cool i like this new because comics! also you got me to read my first ever comic. growing up i was a special snowflake that was hardcore into manga and saw american comics as inferior. but now as an adult i looove the cinematic universes and tv shows and follow these channels for the back stories. it was the pet avengers. honestly it was a let down but some pretty art. but i tried.
