I can't be sure right now cause i don't have the rules with me, but I remember something about only drawing one zombie trait per turn per character

Correct. Unless its a special ability that’s lets them draw two e.g Deadpool. I’m going to give this mission a go today.

@@jamesormay9870 Deadpool let’s you trade a hunger for a free action that only let’s you gain a trait. It DOESN’T let you get 2 traits per turn.

@@LuiJoD316 I read it it differently now that I’ve had a chance to look at the rules. To me it seems Deadpool gains a trait as an effect of his skill. This does not cost an action and so therefore he can gain another trait by using one of his actions and therefore gain two traits during his activation. Page 13 of the rulebook states “ A Zombie hero can only perform a single Gain Trait ACTION per turn, though other effect might grant them extra Zombie Trait cards”

Good thing to remember is that Undead Rage doesn't have to be used on your turn - as soon as the tonne of Specialists dropped on Iron Man and Cap America at the start, you could have used the Undead Rage to clear a bunch of them, and *then* had your full set of actions on the following turn.

I also have Heroes Resistance and I am trying not to play it too much! Not that the game is bad, but the game is begging for extra content! Otherwise it can be samey with the same heroes popping up! But this is probably the best Zombicide to date!! Can't wait till May/June!! Happy New Year as well!!

If I could get the any of the Marvel Zombicide games I would get the main one and the Hydra Resurrection because I feel like the two just complete each other so nicely

Also, when Iron Man was Ravenous with one Guard adjacent, his Repulsor Blast doesn't specify you can't move enemies towards you, so you could have moved that Guard into IM's Zone, and then tried to Devour him. (Better to risk a possible Wound than Cap could have shrugged off, than Risk an unavoidable Wound from being Ravenous.) I've succeeded at the first 5 Missions, so learned a few tricks (through a few failures, hehe). Always, always do your best to avoid being Ravenous; its the major killer more than Enemies.

Nice video. This mission is near impossible. Have played several times trying different strategies, and ends up with us being massively outnumbered, and slaughtered every time. I'm wondering if something went wrong in playtesting, etc, especially as the rulebook has this classified as an easy mission!

I have to agree, I've tried playing at 4 characters 3 times, and have never quite managed to take both objectives. I might try it with 1 less red spawn point? It might still be very hard though.

I honestly think they wrote the wrong triggers for the blue and green spawn points in the book. It fits so thematically that they would activate once you pick up both objectives and seems oppressively difficult if they are open from the point you gain access to the building. It’s why I included that suggestion in the edit.

I think you’re sleeping on how useful Ironman’s repulsor blast ability can be. I saw multiple turns where you could’ve played him to move enemies away from zones with your other heroes. The turn when Hulk and he dies could’ve been avoided if you remembered that attacking the zone let’s you push enemies to an adjacent zone. He has great push back crowd control if you plan you moves correctly you could’ve use the building as a bottle neck and kept blasting the horde back. It’s not an unbeatable strategy but it does use his blue starting ability to it’s max

Yea I tried running this mission last night and safe to say I lost 💀. Let’s just say at one point hulk had to use thunderclap against 25 enemies. Deadpool couldn’t move out of the damn spawn point and cal couldn’t deflect 10 attacks 🤣

Try it with two ranged zombie heroes. I think that helps with the balance issue somewhat. It is certainly a challenging mission, though better to hard, than too easy; IMHO.

As someone said there may be a rule for activating enemies if you can't spawn more. I know in 2nd Edition that has happened to me only once on a mission where the only objective is get one survivor to red on the experience track. There are many rules that help you like the activate cards when no enemy type is on the board but then there are ones like this one made to bring the tears lol

You didn't even give the figures you ran out of an extra activation. That is what destroyed my game when I tried this mission.

in 17:11 why Spiderman spawn on top of Hulk? how that work, can anyone explain the "Spawn in the closest zone with a Zombie Hero"

Not sure if heroes can be pushed. But couldn’t you have pushed Thor out of your zone with Iron Man’s attack?

!) Happy new year, 2) if you run out of minis, those types get 1 move, 3) some extra action cards state spawn first so all spawns also get the action, others action first, then spawn.

You moved wanda outside when the door was closed would have changed the game might have been able to kill Thor with the to heroes

hard mission and the rulebook say easy. I tried with 4 heroes and it was disaster. I tried with 6 and is much improvement. The wasp ability to shneak is good. You dont use the rule one hero die the game ends?
