Guts could fuse the Sword of Accuation with the Dragonslayer, but given the evil Od the Dragonslayer gives off from having slain so many astral beings and Apostles, I think the end result of such a fusion might be even more dangerous than opening a literal portal to hell.

Wow, I'll have to reread again. Never really noticed Skull Knight also only shows up around full moons. Makes alot of sense why he's gone most of the time. Also never put together that the Slug Count could have been the twice reincarnated Apostle. This series is fucking bananas and you learn new stuff no matter how many times you've read it. So cool. Im curious if the great roar of the astral world affects when skull knight can and can't appear.

SK will probably have an easier time manifesting now that the physical and astral worlds are no longer separated. I'm really excited to see if that same logic applies to the Godhand as well, and perhaps see more of them adopt permanent, physical forms.

If Skull knight himself is essentially a Coffin with Gaiseric's soul inside a fusion could entail guts getting rid of the Berserker armor and using skull knight like armor which could act like a fusion but be non-permeant while also representing growth eg: the Berserker armor represents guts rage, loosing himself to the dark beast but skull knight is pure composure and so it would complete guts journey from animal to knight

I know this is not confirmed, and is just inferred because we now have new God Hand members that are different from the ones we see in the Skull Knight flash back. But my undestanding was that the previous members of the God hand had been vanquished by the Skull knight in the past. I was kind of confused by the parts about the Skull Knight atempting to atack them for the first time.

i think that that four gods are elemental gods that granted power to imprisoned mage that becomes Void, so the Void is only and first member of God hand of that time, so Void is actually the creator of The God Hand

Those Godhand members are only gone. We don’t know exactly how or why. Void could’ve betrayed them like he may again or Femto will try. Or yeah SK could’ve been successful against those earlier 3. Yet he couldn’t harm Void and Guts can’t harm Griffith.

Generally I’ve always thought giant hunks of metal to be the coolest weapons in fiction. But this sword may be the coolest. There are so many swords that host demons. But having a weapon made up of the very thing that creates demons is just on another level.

just as a really far out there idea, there is a book called "revenge of the rose" by michael moorcock that is highly reminiscent of the story of skull knight and berzerk.if you dont know, it is an elric of melnibonea story, second to last in the series if you read chronologically. worth a read elric is trapped in another version of his existence, where his is caught up in a plan to take out a long standing character he has been running into throughout his travels, called gaynor the damned, a disembodied soul caught in a suit of armor ( a character that runs ,presumably, throughout moorcocks other works, definitely corum as you find out he is disembodied in corums encounters with him). elric himself doesnt do it, but he is pivotal to the end result. he helps a women called rose and her four "sisters" to capture gaynor in a trap of roses and finally kill him for originally killing the four "sisters". she does this through a method of temporal conjunctions, allowing them to step through to lend their power to her (another theme that runs in moorcocks work - his eternal champions binding together to become stronger then their singular self). this isnt the first time i have thought about the parallels and similarities between berzerk and revenge. perhaps check it? as miura very well could have read it, as moorcock was a highly rated fantasy writer whilst miura was growing up and could have taken inspiration from it.

What if the reason why the sword of actuation can not kill members of the god hand, is due to the sword itself being incomplete? However this also gave me another question, what if skull knight was just following guts to take his behelit from him if guts were to die? But wait theres one more! Would skull knight attack/kill guts if he turned into a apostle?

I'd like to imagine that Skull Knight, a character said to be a being of pure desire to kill the god hand, would probably try to kill Apostle Guts. However, the idea that Guts would ever use the behelit would just fly in the face of every lesson this manga presents and I seriously doubt Muira ever had intended Guts to break character and do a complete 180 and give up his humanity. His themes are completely against that entire idea and if they ended up doing that to him, it would invalidate Gut's journey and the entire story.

What if somehow Guts's sword is turned into the actuation and, because by now it is confirmed to have some kind of pseudo anti-demon enchantment, this becomes the sure method of permanently destroying the God Hand members? Although I think that everything happening back at Falconia is all meant to either bring the other four members into physical bodies through poor Charlette birthing quadruplets and Caska as a cornerstone sacrifice, or even Charlette birthing and the sacrifice of Caska and every soul in Falconia to create a physical body for the Idea of Evil itself to inhabit.

I feel like now that the two worlds are collided the god hand is actually vulnerable to attack now due to them being physically present in the world. So though difficult to actually hit them because they are almost omnipotent, it still can be done and I can see the journey guts is going to do, one by one the god hand will fall leaving Griffith for last, but I do feel again that void will come and take do a betrayal at the end while guts is striking down Griffith.

Sword of actuation comes from within skull knight. Guts will have to 'kill' skull knight, causing the dragon slayer to take on the properties of skull knights sword. Giving guts the means to finally reach his goal. Skull knights and guts tales mirror each other but at the same time they are different. Skull knight will not end God hand but guts will, skull knight could not save his love butbguts will. Skull knight was able to 'survive' millennium but guts will not.

I wonder if skullknight is literally just the berserker armour manifested with the kings personality. Nothing more or less. He died that day in a sacrifice but the magic on the armour and his hate damned him to be an enteral wrath the immortal enemy of the god hand because what they took from him that day. The king didn’t surivive the eclipse he didn’t get split into two. He died and the berserker armour in the vain of his hate become skull knight.

Skull knights sword has lower mass despite that it works better than dragon slayer? I mean if you put real world physics into action than that could indicate the sword is basically lots of matter concentrated in one point. But if thats the case the mass should convert to energy no? Most probably think that dragon slayer and sword of actuation will merge. But I think dragon slayer is on its way to transformation different from the sword of actuation. Guts has been defying causality with dragon slayer, and as we all know dragon slayer has been giving off strage Od because of the amount of astral being it killed. It might transform into a sword of causality in the near future.
