A lot of people are saying it's not that fast, I don't think that's true. It's definitely a quick car, but it's 16ft long the granturismo is a big GT car. But with the suspension setup and the carbon ceramic brakes it's definitely not supposed to be a straight line rocket.

I think a Maserati Granturismo sounds much better than a Ferrari F430

@TheKrummp All the argument to be made my son. Corvette sounds sub standard, this is fucking awesome. It makes your heart vibrate with the passion from the engine and the years of the Maserati legacy. The Corvette doesn't do any of that, it's just semi loud and has a deep tone. In my opinion my Mk 2 Golf sounds better and it's louder.

It's an old story related to the Maserati in the 80s

there are also american engines with 5400cc and 1100hp but the older engines are big and less powerful yes, but because of that the engine lives much longer and has more torque than the italian ones.

Some engine parts and engine's project are the same.. But Maserati remains a totally single factory... Also the new engines for the new 4porte are made by ferrari

In terms of torque or power at low end rpm then yes probably. But for high end power definitely not. Not so sure about reliability either. I think they sound the best though :)

@focarfa Put it like this, the Engine is like an MP3 Player with songs. If the MP3 player is crap and has bad quality music on it then it doesn't matter what headphones you use, it's going to sound crap. But if you have a really good MP3 player with CD quality songs on it, then having a good pair of headphones makes all the difference. The engine on this is very good, but the exhaust is better. i.e. Same Engine on the GranTurismo S but this sounds better. Why? Because of the exhaust.
