I swear, I love Knuckles' characterization in this show. It's exactly what Sega has been neglecting and misrepresenting, is that Knuckles is very introverted. He doesn't enjoy being around a lot of company and his comedy because of that is more hilarious, since he is very socially inept. Makes me so excited for how Shadow will get characterized, since the movies have more lenient writing restrictions.

I agree, Knuckles is more goal-oriented and can sometimes be clueless becuz of how straightforward he can be. Add this to the fact that Knuckles lived the majority of his life searching for the master emerald since he was the last of his kind, making him value the nature of battle amd survival of the fittest, which does not exactly spell out "sociable" for someone like him.

Shadow & Knuckles do have some characterization overlap when you think about it, like being introverted. The distinction between them is Knuckles would be more open to being "social" than Shadow would I'd assume. And btw, being introverted doesn't mean you're anti-social or that you're against having friends, it just means you 'Prefer' being around fewer people than large crowds (In Shadow's case, he may be kinda anti-social due to his bad experience with bad people in the past.). I don't think the games make it seem like Knuckles likes hanging out with large crowds of people, honestly, in the games, it seems Knuckles only does that out of "world-saving" necessity like in Sonic Forces. Though, like in Sonic Generations, I really wouldn't call the "crowd" present 'large'.

Honestly, I'm just shocked that a Sonic character actually got grounded. That's just stunning to me. A parental figure exercised authority over a character from the Sonic franchise.
