I'm literally reading this comment, considering this issue, while listening to the Angaran in question grunting and screaming from the nearby TV as the game is waiting for me to make the choice. He's been grunting for the past 5 minutes with no ill effect, he can wait until I've decided if his life was worth saving or not against the sheer level of snark you get for keeping the AI.

I love the ai. I decided to keep it. "It was nice talking to you." ai: "I hope you all die." definitely my fave character.

Notsosmartguy 625 Agreed. When she is spoken to if you send her to SAM, SAM will highly caution you, SAM became slightly louder, proving that even Sam is not assured that he can contain her if she goes crazy.

That rogue AI on the moonbase from the first game, later, with a lot of patience, becomes EDI. Angara were angry, distrustful and ready for violence, because of kett polluting hope and power of first impressions, simular to this AI, at first. Gett fiasco happened because Quarians could not take back the life they accidentally created. Conduit were tasked and given free creative choice in saving species and kept doing so without conferencing with someone living and that was a nightmare. Sending her with SAM is not very wise, she could clam up making a clear line of US and THEM and be chummy only with him or try to influence other Arks SAMs (Rider Sr. had special relation with his). If Angara were to not let her near any power or control for a looong time, be patient, kind and forthcoming and provide free access to stimulus and communications with people other than work and notations it could be she would make new connections and learn to trust again. But, they could be too happy to get their hands on long forgotten piece of high tech and give her too much ways to kill them, becoming another cautionary tale. The writing is pretty bad she lack dimensions in the reasoning and judgement, showing bad example of treatment to other AI could prove catastrophic but killing is also an option.

I actually waited awhile and thought about it (while an angaran was dying in the background :/ ) and thought she just lashed out due to fear....sooo took the risk, nothing ventured and all that.

Ikr. I feel like Bioware forget that one of the huge problems with the last game was the lack of cause and effect of your choices.

This is a ME series after all. This ancient AI will in some twist in next game if you will use save. It was always so.

I doubt she could turn SAM against everyone because Ryder Sr designed him in such away that "there is no creator to revolt against" by linking him with the Pathfinder allowing him to experience life. I think this scene is the perfect example of how an AI should be treated, EDI and Ryder Sr stated that to prevent an AI from revolting, its creator should treat it like they would treat themselves: treat it as a living being or at least as a sentient being. If they were treated like a tool (case in point: The Geth and The Catalyst) it is more likely that the AI will revolt

+ kurzor0007 I agree with you for a part. This is why I saved the geth against th Quarians who wanted to kill them all even after the Geth decided to stop the war. But in this case she only lie. Reject the Angara who created her in the past, consider them as a treat and even kill one on them with no reason because she could make a warning without killing. And the first think she do when arrived on the Nexus is finding a way to kill everybody, and to lie again... She is alive and some of us are good and some are bad... I think she is really bad. After 2 lies she keep going on and on and I think she will keep going to do what she seems to do the best and then if caught, will try to find a good excuse and lie more again. Killing someone with no need just to warn doesn't look like rationnel except for someone who just want to control by fear. I think she is like a dictator, and you absolutely don't give power to this kind. In ME3 this is what was not logical with the Catalyst who was keeping going on to say that organic and synthetic couldn't live together, in my game I proved the opposite because I saved the synthetic against the Quarians who wanted to kill them all with no reason except there pride, and preferred to die instead of making peace. And the geth even help us, the organic, to fight again'st the reapers. Nothing was good and logical in this end, except is the catalyst was kind of crazy or stupid which doesn't fit with the story. So I think this angara IA has functional problem and is probably a psychopath who do not respect anything and place her above everything else and won't hesitate to kill everybody just because she think she doesn't need anyone. She is the one who decide to kill first and obviously she won't stop because she think that we need her and for her it's a weakness that she will exploit. Considering IA as humain means that you have to consider that she could be this kind of "human" who do not consider that to be nice is good but is a weakness that he could take advantage on.

See I would’ve kept her alive but she clearly spooked SAM which is what really got me.
