I follow news on BTS daily, but am in shock how quickly our best, most loved and recognized Kpop group is mentioned in a negative context all of a sudden. All their years of struggle being belittled, their sucess questioned while they are away and in the midst of other big scandals with Hybe and some people. I am not a teenager and will not be fooled by any of it. My thoughts and my heart is with BTS always . Good health and safe service to Jungkook and all his brothers , true fans will trust and wait till they return.

Since Hybe is in the midst of a legal battle they can’t really give out all the info that fans are demanding. Why tip their hand to the opposition. I sort of blame these giant labels in South Korea and other Asian countries. Because their formula for a loooong time has been to create a culture of total fan dependency and preciousness around idols right from the word go. Then when it flares up and fans act out because they cannot cope without specific content or an idol does something deemed wrong, it can hit levels surreal to borderline psychopathy. But when you condition your fandoms to think that these idols = life then I'm kinda like, well what did you expect? In saying that HYBE have always been a bit more chill than that, especially in recent years, opting for a more Western formula of letting their artists just live their lives and not jumping on their cases when fans tell or order them to, so. But that might also be a bugbear for some of these fans out in SK and wider Asia who are mad at HYBE for aligning more with freedom than tradition. Of course it doesn't mean HYBE's a saint, and it might have skeletons in its closet. And sometimes fans are right too. Asking questions sometimes saves lives, careers or entire industries. And HYBE may have things to answer to, who knows. But turning up with funeral wreaths is a little over the top imo. It's like a guy with ten yachts showing up at your door demanding that you hand over your yacht as well free of charge (a bad analogy for most of us but you get the drift!). It's not as if BTS fans haven't been thoroughly spoilt by HYBE over the years.

i think Jk work hard when he want to and when it makes sense but when it+s just things he don´t care about he wont work as hard. and i think after all the promotions he did before enlisting he deserves a break. who knows maybe jimin will get a sore shoulder again and need to do paper work in the militry and we also know RM has a bad knee so they could just take it easier to hinder those issues to become permanent. it´s harder to take it easy and heal up when you are constantly promotion or recording stuff

Regarding JK being the chef or cook I’ve seen video of older guys talking about their time in the service. Some talk about how being put in the kitchen was used as punishment for not following the rules or for some infraction. Similar to in the US of getting KP duty, meaning you peeled potatoes for the whole shift. Difference w JK is that he was given a leadership role of chef not the menial job of dishwashing or garbage. Preparing the food for all the other soldiers and being able to do it well would be valued by everyone! They would not keep a crappy cook in that position.

I find it dystopian that Korean fans attack the label to support the artist. I know well that in the past there have been labels that have made artists sign noose contracts, but in the current reality the contractual standards are much higher, especially if Bang PD is involved. Seeing this mass of delirious girls attacking Bang PD and Hybe so spectacularly, causing moral suffering to BTS at a time when they are already under pressure, locked in the closed environments of the barracks, and seeing them raving that in this way they are defending BTS , it really makes me feel bad. Good morning Dave, why are you trivializing it...??? Big Hit treats BTS like dirt and has been doing so for years, and you say it as if Big Hit hasn't done anything that bad and that one shouldn't speak about the company like that. BTS has been a fan for as long as I can remember and I'm ashamed to call myself an Army member, but rather just a fan. If I called myself an Army member, i would have to be proud of it to be a proud Army. As for Jungkook, he's a very good cook and he's very hard-working and you can tell that he really enjoys cooking and I don't think he has any training, but BTS are not free of all rumours and other scandals because things continue while they're in the military and I find that disrespectful and you're just trivializing it. If they took a break from all of this then you wouldn't hear so much negative stuff about BTS.
