Great review and like your style and outlook on life. First introduced to the 1155 back in '77 over here in Blighty. My jaw dropped when it came into the yard, porn on wheels. You could hear the turbo whistling from 2 miles away when it was heading to the auction, those were the days

Cool 😎, we had a 1155 without the cab. Two 1135s, one 1100, one 1130. Two 175s one 135. A 35. When our 1155 burnt-out 5 clutches in less than two years, daddy said that's enough! He traded it for our first 1135. We were pulling a 720 Massy Ferguson harrow with the 1155, it was just too much for the clutch. Plenty of HP though!

Hi, great video. Always good to see the older tractors. I used to operate a 1080 Mr multi power many years ago. It'd pull that every day of the week. Also used a 4020 JD similar work and no problems at all. Now to really give her a test, put a mower conditioner or a precision chop forager on the PTO, that'll give her something to make those horses think about. Kind regards from across the pond. Mal.

A fallow winter under some chicken/turkey manure would do it good. That shtuff will burn up the vegetation. Maybe a moldboard would have been better for the sod breaking prep, but maybe it would be the same. Watching you cultivate a field is a little like watching a campfire. It's sort of mesmerizing. I can't look away. Anyway, I'm not a farmer, but I grew up in farm country, and it looks to me like you worked that soil up just fine. However, what do you do about all the weed seeds that are bound to be in that soil? Can you spray wheat with something that will kill weeds & not the wheat? BTW, I love that 1155. It sounds so mean, and it looks cool as anything!
@jtsbarnngrill68739 ай бұрын
Thank you very much! As for the weeds, I hit it with roundup a few days prior and I’ll hit the wheat with husky in the spring. And hopefully the grass won’t get out of control 😉

Check the adjustment, small vertical rod under plate between feet on my 1085. Mine doesn't work good in hi range but ok in low. I believe if it needs rebuild, it's a split job. Had mine done when hydraulics went
@jtsbarnngrill68739 ай бұрын
Like Brandon said, check the linkage, I believe on the 1155 the linkage goes straight to a hydraulic block. If that’s all ok, then your charge pump pressure is the next obstacle. It is steers/ all other hydraulics work fine then your M/P clutches are shot. That is a split and they are behind the front cover of the trans.

Next year I am planting a native grass mix. Curious what steps you took to break up this sod.
