Sales will be critical to our ability to spend , i personally think our base budget is about 100 / 125 million , plus sales. I'd sell Rashy myself for anything over 65 million but even at that fee i don't see many takers given his form , behavior and massive wages. To me if Olise comes in , Garnacho deserves to start on the left and some academy ballers coming through , someone who is protected and never dropped regardless of form like Marcus is a problematic obstacle. But put Rashford aside , if we sell him its a bonus , but we can easily raise over 100 million in sales without him - Casemiro 20 / 25 million if Saudi comes in , Scott 30 million , Maguire 25 million , AWB 15 / 20 million (surely several domestic clubs interested in those 3) , Sancho and MG could get around 30 million each. Theres also other wages removed and smaller sales but just those right there around is 130-150 million or so. None of those should really have futures at the club and none of the fees i mentioned are overly ambitious.

We genuinely need 2 CBs and 2 CMs signed and with sales we should able. Especially with Varane likely leaving, Lindelof should be sold , last chance to cash in on Maguire , Licha may need to be on reduced minutes next term ; we really do need at least two CBs signed. Todibo seems a no brainer with this expected fee and his attributes , Anselmino would be foolish to pass up and can loan him straight out (to OGC Nice even) , Branthwaite likely too expensive ,so i'd probably also opt for Bremer. But perhaps due to tight funds we might bring in the Fulham CB on a free along with Todibo and Anselmino still possible. Similarly in midfield we need at least two signings imo - Case likely gone , should cash in on Scott , Eriksen going , Amrabat's loan is ending etc. If it were me i'd sign Wieffer , the lad has it all on both sides of the ball and clear attributes we need & likely going for a very fair fee. And i'd bring Rabiot on a free. With strict FFP for everyone now i don't think Rabiot will be able to leverage huge wages and not only is he one of Juve's best players but also a tall physical ball carrier who also adds goals from the mid (all of which we need). Thats two CMs for 40 million combined.

You need to see if man utd can actually get rid of the dead wood in the squad before you can talk about how much potential profit you will get in return from selling the players. Most of the players are on high wages and potential clubs will baulk at taking them on considering what they are earning per week.

Alice like your work but all united fans are deluded. No way will any team pay the nonesense prices you jave out on your players. Everyone knows you overpaid on both the cost and wages. Knock 30 to 40% of the asking price and you might get those fees, but you may well have to subsidise the crazy wages you paid very average players. Most likely you will have to keep until the contracts are finished.
