myPursesuitOfHappiness Yes, it is very interesting that another company makes some of Dooney's Alto line.😮 I didn't know it, either, until I found my first Boldrini bag. I'd noticed that many of the Boldrini bags look EXACTLY like Altos, so I asked the ladies in FB groups, and also did as much online research as I could, and was told that Boldrini produces Altos. One of the ladies in one of the groups was actually able to visit a Boldrini store in Italy and was given this info. So interesting!

I'm sorry you're disappointed in your awesome find!😯 Yes, pebbling is very natural with florentine leather. Also what I've noticed with my red florentine items is that red Flo leather can naturally develop some sort of dark-ish spots/marks (generally along the edges and corners of the bag), even if it hasn't been used a whole lot. However, true water marks shouldn't be on a "nwt" bag. Are there any other signs of use? Did you purchase the bag recently? If the bag is not as described (if it seems to be used), you could contact Ebay and let them know. Their guarantee is that buyers can make a return and get a refund if the item is not as described.

I only own one Florentine dome satchel purchased brand new and it was smooth no pebbling, so i had the exact same expectations on this eBay find when it stated "NWT". Tbh, I'm new to using eBay and wasn't a believer that they actually offered authentic product and dealing with third party sellers vs an independent retailer. I just received the bag in the mail on Monday; however, I didn't look @ the pics with a fine tooth comb (I wasn't observant enough). I was so excited about trying to win the bid on this satchel I've always wanted I neglected all the important things. I've been doing eBay the entire month of January 2018 and I've had mostly awesome finds, of course I have both hits & misses, but more positive outcomes. I'm learning to zoom in on pics and ask more questions as I become more comfortable with utilizing eBay's services. I'll look into investing in the apple cleaner. Thx again for making time 4 me!🤗😘🤗😘

Lavern D&B I think so. My collection has changed quite a bit because I discovered what works for me and what doesn't. I had a lot of Medium Flos and Claytons originally, and both styles/sizes were too large for me, so I sold all of them. I do still have a couple of Small Satchels that were in my collection last year.
